Today's TEO Committee. Philip Brett was correct to raise Sinn Féin's hypocrisy. Their member had just raised the issue of an internal report into Jeffrey Donaldson and asked where it was. Brett then asked where Sinn Féin's reports were into various paedophiles.
For information : I wrote to Mary Lou Mc Donald weeks ago asking her party to appoint an independent reviewer to deal with various issues of child abuse that have arisen within their party. I am happy to speak to a reviewer. They won't appoint one.
I'm happy to repeat Philip Brett's claims here.
The Sinn Féin party has protected paedophiles. If they are unhappy with that allegation, they can see me in court.

Don't even go there Michelle. I told you in 1998 that I was being abused. What did you do?

Irish Republicanism is diametrically opposed to anything other than Irish Republicanism often throughout history very violently.
There is no negotiating with this, it is naivity beyond the pale to think that if you are anything other than Irish Republican that you'll be accepted
Former SDLP branch chair Ciara Dempsey, who has joined the UUP, claims she was suppressed over her unionist background, "reprimanded" for supporting farmers, and criticised for attending the Twelfth.
Uncomfortable reading for the SDLP and not the image they've been projecting.

Imagine burning £100+ worth of collarettes for a bonfire when you could burn a £5 replica and pocket the rest. Are there no entrepreneurial Republicans left? Pure lack of business acumen.

Claiming someone born in 1995 somehow saw mass graves in Belfast. Claiming anyone saw mass graves in Belfast during the troubles is a joke.
Teaching young people this nonsense is the legacy of Sinn Fein and the main reason we haven’t been able to move on.
It needs to stop.

One of the first things I was taught in school was never to lend a Catholic anything.
We even practiced refusals. One kid would be picked to be the Catholic and ask us for a lend of something. And the most arrogant refusal would get tokens that could be used to buy 🇬🇧 bunting.

A United Ireland would torpedo Ireland's finances like a fiscal Hindenburg, saddling the Republic with Northern Ireland's £10 billion annual black hole—equivalent to nuking 20% of its health budget overnight—while Belfast's governance vampires drain Dublin dry without a single UK penny to cushion the fall. Surpluses would evaporate into endless subventions for lagging infrastructure and welfare, ballooning debt to Greek crisis levels and sparking tax hikes that'd make emigration trendy again. Nationalist dreams ignore the math: unity isn't salvation, it's a sovereign suicide pact disguised as patriotism.

These kids should not be held accountable for failure of GAA to address issues of concern.
Allowing kids of all religions & backgrounds to play together is what builds tolerance & understanding.
