ESCAPADE is an epic interplanetary mission that may inform future spaceflight to the Red Planet.
Our team has been dedicated to making the science mission a success for more than four years.
Our twin spacecraft – Blue & Gold – are about to fire their engines to execute a trans-Mars Injection maneuver to propel themselves to Mars.

Everyone’s a long term investor for 2027, 2028, or 2029 onward
Until their portfolio experiences volatility months in. I still think:
- $RKLB could end up the next $SPCX
- $NBIS has the potential to be the next hyperscaler
- $SIVE has moonshot potential to be the next $LITE
- 1-3x P/E memory companies and $AXTI substrate bottlenecks are more durable than markets think
And that it’s stupid to sell single digit fwd P/E AI companies or promising longs.
And rotate that into 5% growth towel resellers at 47x P/E. Or 180x cyber companies, just because they’re going up.
I’ve seen $AMD go from the $3 valley of doom to $400 as people thought it could be the next $INTC / $NVDA.
And been through the Bitcoin $1000 -> $18,000 -> $3000 -> $100,000 cycle.
Not advice on how to position or trade, but anyone on extreme leverage during those times got wiped out.
While the underlying assets sharply recovered later.
I do think AI, Space, and Physical AI are the future.
So, I’m remaining long, and using this time to maximize exposure to the winners

Our twin spacecraft – Blue & Gold – are about to execute a trans-Mars Injection maneuver to propel themselves to Mars.
Since launch 12 months ago, the spacecraft we designed and built for @NASA and @ucbssl for the @escapade_mars mission, have been in space making small course corrections.
Now that Earth and Mars are aligned, each spacecraft will ignite their engines for about 9 minutes each, to begin their journey to the Red Planet to study its atmosphere.
Blue’s engine burn takes place: Saturday 7th November
Gold’s engine burn takes place: Monday 9th November

Rocket Lab CEO @Peter_J_Beck is actually sending the first private mission to Venus to search for aliens.
"That's one of the biggest questions as a human species that we can answer—are we the only ones in the universe or not?"
Why Venus?
He says it's because Venus has a unique cloud layer about 50km in, that in theory, could support some kind of life:
"There's been traces of phosphine gas found in there. Phosphine gas only comes from organic symbiosis. So the mission is to go there and actually see if we can detect life."

One of the first images from Maxwell, the spacecraft we built for @Viasat, featuring our solar array.
Maxwell is healthy and moving through commissioning ahead of schedule.
The stock market red days have been brutal and the few green days start well and fade out.
Not great but it is what it is. Tough several months in a massive pullback. How much lower we go? Who knows!
