Everyone’s a long term investor for 2027, 2028, or 2029 onward
Until their portfolio experiences volatility months in. I still think:
- $RKLB could end up the next $SPCX
- $NBIS has the potential to be the next hyperscaler
- $SIVE has moonshot potential to be the next $LITE
- 1-3x P/E memory companies and $AXTI substrate bottlenecks are more durable than markets think
And that it’s stupid to sell single digit fwd P/E AI companies or promising longs.
And rotate that into 5% growth towel resellers at 47x P/E. Or 180x cyber companies, just because they’re going up.
I’ve seen $AMD go from the $3 valley of doom to $400 as people thought it could be the next $INTC / $NVDA.
And been through the Bitcoin $1000 -> $18,000 -> $3000 -> $100,000 cycle.
Not advice on how to position or trade, but anyone on extreme leverage during those times got wiped out.
While the underlying assets sharply recovered later.
I do think AI, Space, and Physical AI are the future.
So, I’m remaining long, and using this time to maximize exposure to the winners

I failed 21 SAS selection.
One hundred and twenty men started. Four finished. I was not one of them.
I do not tell that story to be humble. I tell it because of what happened next, which nobody ever asks about.
I went home. I was 19 years old and I had failed at the one thing I had told everyone I was going to do. There is a particular silence that follows that. Friends are kind. Family are careful. And you sit in your childhood bedroom and understand that the failure is now a fact about you.
Six months later I went back and did the whole thing again.
Passed the second time.
Here is what I actually learned, and it is not what people expect. It was not about grit. It was not about wanting it more. It was that the first attempt was not wasted, it was the reconnaissance. I knew where the ground broke you. I knew what the third day felt like. I was not braver the second time, I was better informed.
Most people treat a failure as a verdict.
It is data.
The only real failure is the one you refuse to go back and look at.

The CADENA air traffic advisory lists this mission as "New Glenn 4.1". The rocket which exploded was "New Glenn-4".
As ever, these dates are extremely provisional, and should be taken with a pinch of salt until more concrete information is released.

SEEKING ALPHA CALLS IT A FALLING KNIFE. THE CASH DID NOT FALL WITH IT.
Seeking Alpha bears keep saying five things. Here is the simple answer.
"Too expensive after the crash."
The stock already fell about 56–66%. That is a big cut. Q2 sales were $234M, up 62%. Backlog is $2.36B. Street targets still near $104. Sales and backlog are still there. The price got cheaper. The business did not leave.
"Neutron to 2027 ends the story."
Beck said the delay is voids in thick carbon tank domes. New process. Aft dome passed. Stage 2 and the fairing are already done. They will not rush. Electron still flies: 97 flights, 56 wins in a row. Neutron is already in a $397M Space Force deal. Delay is real. The fix is real too.
"Iridium means endless dilution."
ATM raised about $1.94B. The $3.6B bridge loan is dead. Deal is funded. Close mid-2027 if approvals clear. The big cash raise is done. Integration takes time — that part is fair. Funding panic is old news.
"Big rockets kill the premium."
Different job. Electron flies small sats and HASTE. Synspective just booked 20 more Electrons. Launch backlog over 100. About 80% of sales are Space Systems. Most of the backlog is Space Systems too. They build and sell spacecraft. That is cash today. Not the same as heavy lift.
"They burn cash forever."
Cash on hand about $2.13B. Losses got smaller this year. Space Systems and Electron pay the bills while Neutron gets fixed. Runway is not the crisis bears sell.

Neutron: fix the process.

BREAKING: The U.S. Space Force says America needs a THIRD major rocket launch range by 2030 as military and commercial launch demand accelerates.
Lt. Gen. Philip Garrant, commander of Space Systems Command, confirmed that the service has formed a planning team to evaluate a new spaceport capable of supporting medium- and heavy-lift rockets.
The expansion would supplement Cape Canaveral in Florida and Vandenberg in California, which face growing capacity constraints as SpaceX, Blue Origin and other operators increase launch activity.
The White House has projected that U.S. launch demand could reach 1,000 missions annually by 2030, approximately five times the 2025 level.
The Space Force is evaluating government-owned facilities, commercial property and public-private partnerships.
Garrant described the 2030 timeline as ambitious. No location or construction plan has been finalized.
A third launch range could provide additional capacity and redundancy for deploying military satellites during a crisis.
