Great ideas for teaching variables through dry running in this week's @cs4fn @cas_london_crc live lecture. Also a nice alternative for making learning memorable while you can't get real students up at the front using #lego mini-figures instead. teachinglondoncomputing.org/…

Images created using 100 Rubiks' Cubes as oversized pixels. Some unexpected Turing at the Edinburgh Festival watching the excellent @performingnerd
Finally got round to testing @microbit_edu wireless data logging using the Plotter in Mu. 'Dad v Kids' LEGO cart race as a trial for @BLOODHOUND_Edu #rftl timing.

I was intrigued by that too. Might set as homework for pupils to try and find out. Currently teaching bitmap images and operating systems so this photo is going in the slides for both those lessons!
I'll let you know once I have the final version with licence details on it for you to blog. Also hoping to get some Mu feedback at the end of the lesson as this class have used IDLE a lot....
Another Year 10 class starting to #codewithmu tomorrow so I made a cheat sheet. (Also as I finally discovered Undo/Redo hiding in the right click menu!) Let me know of any errors/omissions for use in a Mu 101 lesson @ntoll @tjguk - I'll upload once tested in tomorrow's class.
