Dear Gov. @jidesanwoolu and @HonSeyiJakande, Ojuwoye Nursery and Primary School (Special), Mushin, urgently needs government intervention! From dilapidated facilities and inadequate security to staff shortages, lack of medical personnel, a school bus, and sign language interpreters, these children need urgent support. The time for @followlasg to act is now. Children with special educational needs deserve safety, dignity, and quality education not neglect. Their needs cannot wait. No child should be left behind! #Publicmoneymustworkfotthegoodofthepeople

Dear Gov @jidesanwoolu and @HonSeyiJakande, we call for your urgent intervention on the deplorable condition of the Idi Oro-Mushin Road in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, Lagos State, where the other lane has remained in a terrible state for over three years. The road is riddled with potholes, broken surfaces, stagnant pools of water, and heaps of refuse dumped along different sections. What should be a functional road serving residents, commuters and businesses has become a source of daily hardship, with serious implications for road safety, public health and economic activity. For over three years, motorists have had to navigate this deteriorated stretch, exposing their vehicles to damage, increasing maintenance costs and contributing to traffic congestion as drivers struggle to manoeuvre around damaged sections and waterlogged areas. Pedestrians are equally affected, forced to navigate unsafe, muddy and refuse-strewn surroundings. Beyond the damaged road surface, the persistent accumulation of refuse presents another serious concern. Different sections of the road have been turned into dumpsites, with waste left uncleared for weeks. Such conditions create an unsightly and unhealthy environment, potentially attracting pests, obstructing drainage channels, and worsening flooding risks during rainfall. The stagnant water and accumulated waste also raise concerns about sanitation and exposure to environmental health hazards. This is not merely an inconvenience; it is a public infrastructure and accountability concern. Residents deserve roads that are safe and passable, while businesses and commuters should not have to bear the consequences of prolonged neglect. Three years is far too long for a critical road corridor to remain in such a condition without a lasting solution. We call for urgent action and a public commitment to fixing the Idi Oro-Mushin Road. Lagos residents deserve functional infrastructure, a clean environment, and public services that work for everyone. CC: @followlasg @Mr_JAGs #GetInvolved

FYA @GovWike, @IretiKingibe Since March 2025, residents of Abaji Area Council in FCT have been without electricity. That is 19 months in the dark. Abaji has 10 wards and over 210 communities. These are families, small business owners, students and entire communities cut off from electricity. We ask that your office and the @TheREANigeria The Rural Electrification Agency (REA), to facilitate the immediate restore of power to Abaji Area Council.

Dear @GovWike, @IretiKingibe, and Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali, we call on you to urgently intervene at Kigbe LEA Primary School, Yebu Ward, Kwali Area Council, FCT, where 248 pupils have endured deplorable learning conditions for over eight years. The attached video and images paint a distressing picture of the reality these children face daily. Instead of learning in a safe, decent, and conducive classroom, pupils are forced to sit on bare floors and makeshift wooden planks, using whatever limited space and materials are available to continue their education. The classroom floor is visibly deteriorated, with large patches of exposed earth, while the walls and general condition of the learning environment raise serious concerns about the safety, dignity, and well-being of the pupils. For more than eight years, these children have continued to pursue their education under conditions that no child should have to endure. They deserve proper desks and chairs, a clean and secure classroom, adequate ventilation, and an environment that supports effective teaching and learning. Their circumstances raise important questions about the state of basic education infrastructure, the availability of essential learning facilities, and the attention being given to underserved communities. The situation is particularly concerning amid rising temperatures and the increasing risks associated with extreme heat. In poorly maintained classrooms with unsuitable seating arrangements, children may face additional discomfort, fatigue, dehydration, and difficulty concentrating. How can we expect these pupils to learn effectively, remain comfortable, and reach their full potential when their basic learning needs have gone unmet for so long? Education is a fundamental right, not a privilege that should depend on a child's location or circumstances. Every child deserves an opportunity to learn in an environment that protects their health, preserves their dignity, and gives them a fair chance to succeed. The children of Kigbe should not have to choose between enduring hardship and accessing an education. Eight years is far too long for 248 children to learn without basic classroom furniture and a decent learning environment. Education must not mean enduring indignity. #GetInvolved

N195m on presidential trips... N225m for presidential emergency related expenses and N22m paid to personal accounts. Dear Nigerians, On today's #DiscoveriesFromGovspend, We discovered that the Presidency spent approximately ₦504 million in public funds between March and June 2026. Here is what the records show: ₦195m on presidential trips: In April 2026, three payments of ₦79m, ₦15m, and ₦100m were recorded for presidential trips and related expenses. ₦225m was spent on emergency-related expenses in June 2026. In April 2026, ₦61.8 million was spent on ceremonial helmets and 33 ceremonial aiguillettes, ranks, and files for the mounted troop. ₦7.13m for a presidential transition event in Egypt in April 2026 and ₦10m for a UK trade meeting in March 2026 These entries total approximately ₦504.02 million across the eight transactions shown. The expenditure descriptions raise important questions about spending priorities, value for money, and the public benefits delivered. The final three transactions, amounting to approximately ₦22 million, are also concerning because the records identify payments to personal accounts. Meanwhile, the Financial Regulations 2009, Chapter 7, Section 713, prohibit paying public funds into private accounts. At a time when citizens are facing rising living costs and public services remain under delivered, transparency is not optional. What were these payments intended to achieve? What value did Nigerians receive? And how were these expenditures justified? Visit govspend.ng to examine government transactions, follow the money, and demand accountability. #Publicmoneymustdeliverpublicvalue

Thank you so much for this. According to the recommendation in 2:24 - 2:30 of the video, solar installation should be another alternative to the effect of El Niño in the country 🤔 But as the ravaging El Niño phenomenon and extreme heat intensify, millions of Nigerians are left struggling with unbearable temperatures, unreliable electricity, and the rising cost of survival. How can families, small businesses, hospitals, and vulnerable citizens cope when electricity supply remains inadequate at a time they need it most? Meanwhile, the @NigeriaGov has made provisions for the solarization of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa at the cost of N17 billion in the 2025 and 2026 budgets. What does this investment mean for the ordinary Nigerian who cannot afford alternative power, solar installations, or even the fuel to run a generator? Where is the relief for the common man? Citizens should not have to bear the combined burden of extreme heat, power shortages, and the high cost of living without practical support. We call on the government to urgently strengthen electricity supply, provide targeted relief for vulnerable households and small businesses, and ensure that public investments in solar energy translate into accessible, affordable power for ordinary Nigerians. Public spending must deliver public relief. When the heat becomes unbearable and the lights go out, who stands with the people? #Askquestions

Use AI to estimate what a project should cost, down to the blocks and cement, and to show what a proper community school could look like. The goal: give people a vision of what a proper society should be.
