i think no matter how bad a reboot is, i still think it should be regarded as part of the history regardless. attempting to erase that fact is extremely stupid

Discord will soon make public server messages searchable on Google The feature will be enabled by default for US adults, but users can opt out in their privacy settings
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Missing context: only applies to messages posted after the update, in public channels of discoverable servers. No private servers or DMs. Indexed messages won’t show usernames or avatars. Admins can opt out entire servers; users can opt out their own messages. discord.com/blog/making-co…

Discord is about to put your public messages on Google Discord will start making messages from Discoverable public servers searchable on Google and other search engines from mid-December. The feature is ON by default in most regions, but you can opt out: User Settings → Data & Privacy → turn off “Show my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages.” In the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea, it will be OFF by default. Private servers, DMs and group DMs are not included. Usernames and avatars won’t appear alongside indexed messages.

I was unnecessary, but I find it ok to use, and I find it still appealing, at least it is better than SOME OTHER CERTAIN UPDATES, but the only problem now is that when you try and post it with a lot of words and use the post button on the side, you can't click on the button.
