Bilt is easy. Rent earns points if you match your rent in other spending. Otherwise earn Cash, which isn't money, which you spend to earn points, which earn Cash, which expires in December.
I have a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet has a spreadsheet.
He literally admits in paragraph three that he doesn't plan to fly it, and a commenter points out the Austin–Anchorage flight doesn't even connect to it. The route exists for Alaskans. The post exists for the ad impressions.
Bilt will switch you off 4% Bilt Cash at renewal unless you go to Manage card → Bonus rewards → Flexible Bilt Cash → Save.
There. That's the whole article. Didn't even need the affiliate links. You’re welcome.
Five affiliate links, a Dec 31 deadline, and "I'd jump on that." Hotel credits cut up to 90%? Not a big deal. 4% earning killed for new members? Not a big deal. $1M scratch-off with no odds? Promising. Great analysis of a card he's paid to sell you.
Airport gates are short on seats by design (80% load factor, 70% of those seated, go shop instead). The rest of the post is Eames chair history, a Taipei seating study, and a reminder to move your bag when it's crowded. Seven minutes for one paragraph.

So when it’s near closing time someone who regularly buys burgers at a restaurant should get a free steak over someone else willing to pay for that steak?

if you're not willing to clean the short term rental units you use to generate profit, might I suggest
GET A JOB YOU FUCKING PARASITE
As an Airbnb host, I’m honestly sad about the new rules.
Starting Nov 20, guests no longer have to clean before checkout.
So I’ve updated my listing:
Cleaning fee: $180
Cleaner arrival fee: $40
Cleaner emotional support fee: $25
“Guest didn’t strip the beds” fee: $35
Trash disappointment fee: $20
Checkout time: 6:15am, yeah even in winters
Nobody is forcing you to do chores.
You’re simply choosing between chores and fees.
Freedom isn’t free.

Yeah man. It was amazing until 2024
I’m done with @AmericanExpress platinum card. It was worth $900 a year when you could get into lounges with it. There was some exclusivity.
Now every low class reject gets in. An hour waitlist and then when you finally get in, it’s people on speakerphone, screaming, acting like it’s a Carnival cruise.
Amex has been enshittified. I’ll save my 895 bucks a year.

When at ATL and not flying Delta, does one go the Amex lounge that serves the same food that prisoners eat or go to Bojangles?
The answer is always Bojangles
