First week in the US and some girl was picking on my older sister because of her accent. My step-sister took care of that. 😩
I thank God for my step-sister and brother who were well known and could fight. Once it was established that I was their sister, I was shielded from a lot. That and the fact my step-brother was nice in basketball and my mother dressed us nice saved me in Harlem. RIP Vanessa! ❤️
