There is a very real, understandable impulse to just roll one's eyes and say "well Democrats aren't going to do anything anyway" but the stakes for human lives are just too high for that. I genuinely think total cynicism can be just as self-defeating as libbed out naïveté. This is a generational mandate for real change and we have to demand/require that our representatives actually do something with it

A man in Khan Younis shouted this during a protest against skyrocketing food prices in southern Gaza.
Israel still tightly controls every food truck that enters. Commercial flour and market goods have been repeatedly restricted or halted, bakeries have shut, and daily truck numbers remain far below the levels agreed in the ceasefire. Prices jump overnight while people already living in ruins line up for bread.
After everything they’ve endured, no one should have to scream that famine must not come back.

Our case was interrupted over 100 times. The government was not interrupted once.
I didn't hold high hopes for the British 'justice' system, but I did expect to at least have our case heard.
No matter what, we will keep fighting for actual justice to prevail.
