When we push back, we win. Hold the line. Zionism is Racism.
BREAKING: Labour leader Fran Belbin has announced that the party *will not* be proposing to run Sheffield council as a minority administration at today’s full council meeting. This is after last minute talks today aimed at finding common ground between Labour and the Greens.

Outside the Supreme Court, where the Palestine Action appeal hearing closed for the day, a man was arrested for saying, "In the UK, it's a crime to say, I support Palestine Action". Police reportedly said it was due to the length of the pause between "crime to say" and "I support.."

The BBC consistently interrupts every guest that criticises Israel with a defence on their behalf: “Israel would say [insert genocide justification here]” They say they do this for “transparency” and “due impartiality”. If they were honest about that, they would also add the other things Israel themselves have said. Allow us to demonstrate: 1. “Israel would say [genocide justification] although Isaac Herzog, Israel’s President did say on 12 October 2023 ‘It is an entire nation out there that is responsible’” 2. “Israel would say [genocide justification]. Netanyahu did also say in a letter to his soldiers on November 2023 that Gaza is a ‘holy war of total annihilation’” 3. “Israel would say [genocide justification]. On 9 October 2023, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant also said ‘We are fighting against human animals.’” 4. “Israel Katz, the Energy Minister on 13 October 2023, did say that Gaza's civilians would ‘not receive a drop of water or a single battery until they leave the world.’” 5. “Bezalel Smotrich, Finance Minister in August 2024 said starving two million people “might be just and moral until they return the hostages.’” The BBC has consistently hidden behind “transparency” and “due impartiality” to defend Israel at every opportunity. But their cherry-picking of what they say after “Israel says”, is telling of just how opaque and partial they are. “Israel says” is not inherently bad, if one actually says what Israel says.

EXC: The lead drafter of the IHRA definition has condemned the UK govt for imposing it on schools, saying it's being pushed “at a time when there’s a big disagreement in the Jewish community over whether being a Zionist is required to be inside the tent or not”. For @zeteouk 👇

This is a really important interview by Rivkah Brown in Zeteo with Kenneth Stern, who helped draft the predecessor to the IHRA Working Definition. He's adamant that the IHRA should be dumped, even as an academic and monitoring tool. He's very clear it is so "poisoned" it should never be used in schools, as the government is now planning to do based on the Bell review. This is what Stern says: “I think it’s become so poisoned now that I wouldn’t use it primarily for [data collection] or any other purpose...The track record of IHRA in the U.S., Germany, Australia and, yes, the UK has been to use [the IHRA definition] to label pro-Palestinian speech” – including that of pro-Palestinian Jews – “as officially antisemitic."

Far from being a “human shield” my son was acutely aware of dangers posed by Israel’s loose rules of engagement. Wearing a fluorescent jacket, saw children being targeted by an IDF sniper, handed over his camera and rescued two children. He was shot in the head for his humanity.

Q. Why was Thatcher able to describe Sabra and Shatila as "an act of pure barbarism" a day after the massacres - but Burnham is completely unwilling to condemn Israel, three years into the Genocide?

Today, we are challenging the legality of the Palestine Action ban in the Supreme Court, on the basis that it is disproportionate to free speech and the right to protest. You can watch it live from 10.30AM on the Supreme Court website: supremecourt.uk/

This is a mistake that too many people make. The reason Zionism has produced a racist state is that Zionism itself—the ideology—is inherently racist. It could never produce anything other than a racist state.

Zionism in practice has, unfortunately, produced a racist state.

Merely publishing a photo of an Israeli terrorist can get you arrested now. It is antisemitic to document reality. Insanity.

Labour stand in total disgrace today. Ed Miliband’s fake apology can go in the bins that probably will now go uncollected. Collapsing local partnerships to play politics and making support for Israel ‘a red line’, a red line we didn’t impose on our councillors for Labour literally arming a genocide.

The UK Jewish Bloc has been granted permission to intervene in the Supreme Court Appeal against the proscription on Palestine Action, meaning Jewish voices will present evidence in support of @HudaAmmori’s case, countering the lies & absurdities on which the proscription relies.

I'm a doctor in the UK with Palestinian family. I spoke out against genocide and jewish supremacy. My medical licence was suspended. Dr Eastland Staveley, a jewish GP, said he didn't shoot enough babies in Gaza. He is practising medicine freely in Britain. They proved my point.

Fascinating to see how the ‘Is Zionism racism’ question was debated on TV nearly 40 years ago. History really does repeat itself. Well worth your time:
In 1987, the debate over Zionism, racism, and Palestinian rights was already decades old. In 1975, the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 3379, declaring Zionism a form of racism and racial discrimination, a resolution that remained in effect until its repeal in

The Green Party doesn’t have a “Friends of Israel” group. We’re the only major party that doesn’t. Perhaps that’s why we’re the only party that willing to oppose settler colonialism. Perhaps that’s why we’re the only party willing to oppose genocide. join.greenparty.org.uk/
On this day 109 years ago today British foreign secretary Arthur Balfour sent a letter to Lord Rothschild, a leading member of the UK's Jewish community, expressing the British government's support for the establishment of a Jewish national homeland in Israel. It laid the foundation for the eventual end of the British Mandate of Palestine and the establishment of the State of Israel. This article from the declaration's centenary explains how the Labour party already supported its aims months before it was written: labourlist.org/2017/10/why-l…
