I'm launching a new literary journal with some very cool people and will edit the nonfiction section. Send us your writing, preferably your unconventional stuff.

Why aren't there any rallies being held for Fergie Chambers? Why aren't any of the Marxists parties being more vocal in their solidarity with someone who provided material support to anti-imperialist struggles?
happy birthday. Canary Mission is a censorship engine. Don't ever let the right tell you that it is against censorship. This very platform and website empowers Canary Mission behind the scenes to harass and censor critics of Is-rael and they have been doing it for years.
I recommend my students read Mark Fisher's late lectures on Lukács' History and Class Consciousness, especially those interested in identity politics and its relationship to Marxism. Judging by the topics, the papers being written for my course on the later Lukács promise to be extremely interesting.
People are exploring the neo-Kantian roots of Lukács’s thought in Lask and Rickert; comparing his later ontology with Italian autonomist Marxism; examining his critiques of fascist aesthetics, neo-fascism, and irrationalism in relation to the Brazilian far right; analyzing the teleological positing of labor in the later Lukács; bringing Whitehead and Lukács into dialogue on irrationalist epistemology; and comparing Leo Strauss’s and Lukács’s engagements with Nietzsche, among other topics.

I wish the Serbian students all the best, but when the entire Western political-media establishment is celebrating your victory, that doesn’t bode well. It doesn’t mean the entire movement is co-opted, but it does mean that very powerful forces definitely think they *can* co-opt it and use it to transform Serbia into another EU-NATO colony.

Nihilism is the consummation of anti-philosophy construed as a doctrine of automated process or machinic intelligence, a mode of thinking that finds its zenith in Deleuze & Guattari and its senile dementia in Land.
The Left has arrived at the consensus that competing against them in elections is 'subverting democracy.' xitter.cf/BeshearStan/status/211…

The fact that Jared Kushner is not in prison demonstrates that the U.S. is the biggest corrupt shithole on the planet that accused third world countries of
Lula! Parabéns to our friends in Brazil on this victory over the forces of the far right. This is wonderful news indeed for the entire world.
Zizek's 'moderately conservative communism' is also somehow a communism that praises Biden and insists that American socialists remain steadfast reformers of the Democratic Party.
Fake "Marxist" celebrity Slavoj Zizek opposes the protests in France because they're violent, but he praises the violent US-backed, fascist-led 2014 Ukraine coup and violent protests in Iran.
He also openly supports NATO and the proxy war in Ukraine, after he backed NATO's wars on Syria and Libya.
Zizek is just another pro-imperialist socdem who uses "radical" rhetoric to cover up the fact that he is usually on the same side as US capital (going back to when he started his career as an anti-communist "dissident" in Yugoslavia, running for office with a right-wing neoliberal party).
Robert Pfaller’s latest pamphlet is brilliant. It aims to show that there has been a reversal of the Adornian analysis of the authoritarian personality with the antiauthoritarian turn on the left since 68. This is a conundrum that many have tried to capture but I think he gets at it well. Very German focused in its examples.

It says something that even the most based populism conceals the proletarian condition. The worst thing imaginable would be to fall into a powerless peasantry (which no longer exists) rather than the potentially powerful working masses who are very real but remain unmentionable
