Unresolved assassination is an essential part of #Nigeria's political narrative. It is not random, and it is not, in the main, ideological. In many cases, it may even have been transactional.

Extraordinary news of the capture of Nicolas Maduro and his wife by U.S. forces. Venezuela’s fate hangs in the balance.
In 2014 I had a rare interview with Maduro in Caracas. Even then he made clear he had little time for the principles of a free and fair democracy.

It is unethical for a director of a national agency such as NACA to engage openly in partisan politics. Such a role demands neutrality and service to all Nigerians, regardless of political affiliation.
When a public official publicly declares loyalty to a political party, as in the recent case where the NACA Director tweeted and I quote:
“I’ve seen a few comments suggesting I wasn’t active during the APC campaigns 😅
Truth is, this account was only created last year, but I was and continue to be involved right from my ward to LGA and state levels.
My dedication to our great party runs deep; it’s both family legacy and personal conviction.”
It raises serious ethical concerns. This kind of statement risks undermining public trust, fostering perceptions of bias in policy or programme implementation, and eroding confidence in the neutrality of government institutions.
For national agencies that depend on broad cooperation and credibility, visible partisanship by their leadership threatens institutional integrity and weakens faith in Nigeria’s public service as a whole.

IN CASE ANYONE TELLS YOU THAT I SENT THE BELOW MESSAGE, YES I DID!
Good morning
It is heart breaking reading about the current situation you are in. Unfortunately I am no longer in a position to do anything. I have come to the realization that subsidizing citizens' refusal to hold their government accountable is also a big part of the problem in Nigerian. While you suffer, those elected into office squander your money with impunity. Those currently occupying the seat of offices need to hear your message and act on it. They are the ones you should write to. Right now they say we are lying when we tell them there is suffering in the land because they don't hear from you.

When a president tells foreign investors to report his officials that ask for bribes
1. Is he not de marketing his country by telling the world his officials take bribes
2. Is this not an indictment on his selection process
3. Would anyone/investors come to a place where the president is forewarning about a possibility of bribes.
