I found myself often getting frustrated when seeing other accounts getting ridiculous engagement figures on every post, but you'll be reassured to learn that on most occasions they're botting (and blatantly).
It take very little digging to see 95% of the their interactions are from profiles that are 'not followed by anyone you are following', which in CT is a tell tale signal of a bots.
TLDR: Keep yapping into the void, genuine interactions are hard.
