Spent my day off re-formatting/cropping a manuscript for publication that’s already been rejected once. Hearing of others who’ve done the same helped me realise this is ok. Just putting it out there to do the same for others I suppose! #reviewer2 #rejection #academia @mcrcatalys
On Friday a nurse washed my patient’s hair. On Thursday a nurse took my patient to an outdoor space for fresh air. I’ve helped nurses decorate bed spaces for birthdays, facilitating pets visiting for people nearing end of life. Holding hands. Hugs. CARE has not gone @MFTnhs
Perhaps controversial but gonna say it anyway. The #Nursing profession has gone. 😥😥
Don’t expect a nurse to hold your hand, they hold iPads.
Those who were nurses are now practitioners or Physician Associates. Nurses aren’t paid to ‘care’ anymore. I’m so sad 😥😥 #Upskilled
