Good morning 🌄
"To be a champion, it requires sacrifice, consistency, determination and hardwork."
There’s no silver plater that can be handed to you to enable you run a marathon.
One has to wake up very early at 5am, hit the road and put in the mileage. There’s no short cut to running a full marathon.
Accomplish your goal and crossing that finishline is the best feeling you can ever get.
So, if you plan or intend to run a marathon in the future, then you should be ready to wake ⏰️ early, embrace the cold, quit some habits, have a certian level of discipline & consistency, and be ready to embrace the pain that comes along during recovery.
Above all, it's your mindset, once you put your mind to something and put in the work, you can achieve 💯.

We went back to Alere S.S. in a refugee settlement in Adjumani to distribute sanitary pads to girls (and hygiene packs to boys)… As the male champion and +1 to the Danish Ambassador @DKAmbUganda some time back I drew women rights related cartoons that were auctioned to raise money for reusable pads. These were topped up by @AFRIpads and @UNFPAUganda, together with other items that were given out at this school today. The involvement of boys at this school in engaging harmful practices, creating menstruation awareness and fighting stigma among themselves is quite inspirational. So much to share about the experience, but first the joy of engaging with these young souls.

We conducted lion monitoring in the Kasenyi area in collaboration with Kyambura Lion Team, where Jacob, Tibs and Ngubi were sighted in good health.
Such monitoring is vital in tracking lion movements, assessing their well-being and strengthening #conservation efforts in QENP
Congrats Muzukulu
Grab a copy of today's @DailyMonitor . There's something special on Page 23.
I woke up to the surprise of having my story featured. It's a first-of-its-kind experience for me, which makes it special and memorable. Especially for a boy from Gayaza.
I was fortunate to share my career journey across law, finance and technology. The question I'm asked most is how I navigate three such different professions.
Law has been my passion since I was a toddler, and I'm happy to have finally achieved that dream.
In my final term of the Bar course at @LDC_Uganda, my best friend and I started building Credtics.com. At the time, it was just an idea: an automated core banking solution for microfinance institutions.
Shortly after, I joined @NotreDame to pursue a Master of Science in Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The timing couldn't have been better. All of this happened while AI was evolving at an incredible pace.
Building on my experience in finance, we rebuilt Credtics, this time to automate claims processing for insurance companies.
Today, it takes insurance companies a minimum of 7 days to process a single claim. Credtics does it in just 1 minute. That's a time saving of more than 99%.
Claims processing is the most important part of the client journey. Making it as efficient as possible delivers enormous returns through improved Client Lifetime Value.
We trained our models to read, understand and verify over 90 document formats, including permits, invoices, medical records, IDs and even handwritten documents. All this at less than 10% of what insurance companies currently spend on claims processing.
It also integrates into the company's existing tech stack, so claims officers don't need any training to use it.
My goal is to cut claims turnaround time. I believe faster, more efficient claims will improve customer satisfaction and push insurance uptake in Uganda beyond the current 2%.
Thank you @DailyMonitor and @GloriaIrankunda for giving me the platform to share my story. I hope it inspires someone out there to always dare to do more.
As always, to my parents, @NM_Socialentrep and @Uwihanganye_A : I don't know how I would have made it this far without you. Forever grateful for your mentorship and inspiration.

I was honored to attend the launch of the PARLIAMENTARY FORUM ON MENSTRUAL HEALTH & HYGIENE as a member of The Period Equality Network cordinated by @IriseEastAfrica
Seeing Members of Parliament commit to championing menstrual health and hygiene through legislation, policy advocacy, resource allocation and parliamentary oversight was a significant moment for the movement.
The establishment of the Forum’s Executive Committee and Regional Champions also creates an important structure for sustained parliamentary engagement across Uganda.
As menstrual health advocates, we have long called for menstrual health to be treated as an issue of dignity, health, WASH and equity. I’m glad to be part of a growing movement pushing these conversations into spaces where policy and accountability can translate into lasting change. @LillianBagala | @GeorginaAsizu
