slavery was basically universal throughout human history. every race practiced it, every race was enslaved what's extraordinary about Britain is that it abolished slavery and then sent its navy across the world to stop the slave trade somehow we turned one of the civilizations that helped end this almost universal evil into the villain instead of showing gratitude
