What Hojlund saw when he walked into the changing room
🚨 BREAKING: Rasmus Højlund limped through the mixed zone at Anfield and Matthijs de Ligt leaving with what looked like ice strapped to his lower leg. #MUFC [@TyMarshall_MEN]
Per @sistoney67
-One source close to United feels it is inevitable that Jason Wilcox will eventually lose his job if a third managerial change in as many seasons is made.
Per @sistoney67
-Another source said Both Wilcox and Berrada may be vulnerable to the axe, suggesting Ratcliffe could consider a wider overhaul of staff.
Per @AndyMitten
-Players were stunned at the reaction of the fans on Sunday.
Where does Eddie Howe fit into the “Youth,Courage,Success” principle?
Certainly isn’t youth, courage, or success.
Per @samuelluckhurst & @katwalshy1
-Insiders say United decision-makers are not fully sold on available coaches Antonio Conte, Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann.
-A well-placed source said, “The best ones won’t come.”
THIS IS DEPLORABLE
Breaking: #mufc giving Carrick and his staff the chance to turn the club's season around
We will never succeed under this ineos structure
🚨 JUST IN:
People close to Manchester United view Julian Nagelsmann’s appointment as Michael Carrick’s successor as UNLIKELY. #MUFC [@lauriewhitwell]
Appointing someone as uncharismatic as Eddie Howe would be the final nail in the coffin of this club.
Wilcox was City’s academy manager until 2023 and 10 months later he became our technical director.
Astounding.
Per @RobDorsettSky
-Julian Nagelsmann and Eddie Howe are the two front runners to replace Carrick if he is sacked.
-Conte and Emery not as high up in the thinking.
Thomas Frank was prem proven btw and we all saw how that worked out. I wouldn’t trust Wilcox to appoint an u14’s coach atp either.
Get Nagelsmann and start building a serious squad.
Nagelsmann is the only long term manager who would make a difference
Exc: Growing tensions upstairs as United between Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell.
Nagelsmann v Prem Proven boss a source of contention, I’m told.
