A David Beckham led consortium would be a brilliant take over. Make it happen

🔥 Gary Neville has RIPPED into Manchester United’s owners, branding them INCOMPETENT, CHEAP and SADDLED WITH DEBT!
Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast, he said the fans are rightfully furious with those running the club: “They cannot accept the decision making. The season ticket stuff. The lack of recruitment on defenders.”
He then strongly criticised the midfield recruitment failure: “Tottenham have taken the two main targets in midfield. Manchester United decided not to buy them because they can’t afford them! Because of the debt! And all the other waste of money that’s been spent in the last 13 years. An incompetence! It’s a series of bad mistakes.”
The defensive situation drew even sharper criticism: “They had to sign defenders! They’d have been better off buying Tonali and Fernandes, rather than signing 3 that are ok. You’ve now got no defenders and that is absolute negligence to leave that defence out on that pitch!”
His verdict on the club’s cheap approach was blunt: “Buy cheap, buy twice.”
Well said, Gary. Everything he said is bang on. He should call out the owners more often. Saying there’s almost no point because they’re not going anywhere is the wrong attitude. Keep the pressure on. Even if they refuse to sell, that doesn’t mean you stop criticising them or calling for them to go.
The only way this football club gets back on its feet is if the whole lot of them go. Keep pushing! 👊

Seeing this coming from way back in 2023 and having being powerless to stop it is one of the lowest feelings as a football fan I've ever had

Imagine that United board meeting right now....Wilcox and Berrada desperately trying to explain why Carrick should stay so they don't look shit themselves. It's sad how United has become more about egos and saving your arse than being an elite football club

🚨NOTHING will change at Manchester United until the people making these DISASTROUS decisions start taking responsibility for the absolute MESS they’ve created.
Jason Wilcox, Omar Berrada, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and everyone else involved in running this club need to be held ACCOUNTABLE.
They’ve made mistake after mistake, wasted millions, failed managers in the transfer market, and somehow it’s ALWAYS the manager who ends up losing his job while everyone above him carries on as if nothing happened.
And here’s my biggest concern…
Do you believe ELITE managers like Antonio Conte, Unai Emery or Julian Nagelsmann would look at Manchester United right now and happily accept this structure?!
I’d be absolutely SHOCKED if any of them agreed to come here without having a serious say in transfers, squad building and how the football side of the club is run.
Yes, there are reports suggesting Nagelsmann and Conte are interested, but interested in the JOB and willing to work under this current structure are TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.
These are TOP managers with their own ideas, standards and demands. They’re not going to simply nod along with everything Jason Wilcox wants.
And that’s exactly why I fear we’ll end up with Eddie Howe.
Not because I think he’s the best manager available, but because I worry the people running this club would rather have someone who fits THEIR system and doesn’t challenge their decisions.
We don’t need another YES-MAN. We need a WORLD-CLASS manager who is allowed to MANAGE.
But more importantly, we need people above him who actually know what they’re doing. Because you can bring in Luis Enrique, Hansi Flick, Guardiola, Zidane, Klopp or ANY manager in world football, and NOTHING will change if the same people keep making the same mistakes.
I’m absolutely SICK of watching this cycle repeat itself. 🤬
