Was reminiscing Ole days & this came up
🗣️Copenhagen Captain Zeca (a Utd fan):
Thanks very much for everything you're doing in United
🗣️Ole:We're trying to bring it back. He's helping (points at Bruno)
Bruno blushes🥹
Wholesome times.Lived it loved it

A thread!
Ole chocked big teams with tactics n blew away others.
His games needs studying especially with McFred.
This was a perfect high-line 424 in pressing collapsed into a compact/aggressive mid block wich gave the opp no time to breathe.
Managers with style < Ole adapting.

Still thinking about the Harry Kane- Haaland-Bellingham-Rice dominance under Ole ball 😭❤️
Hate his bosses for not making a decision.
Don't hate the Utd legend for continuing to do his job.
Turning up to watch the youth when you know the sack is imminent, requires immense selflessness and love for the club. Appreciate classy human values when you see them.
Michael Carrick has just arrived at Carrington in his training gear, at his usual time [@samuelluckhurst]

Haaland. Kane. Bellingham. Rice.
All in the top 15 of the Ballon d'Or.
All wanted by Ole at Utd.
But the hierarchy above didn't listen, didn't care & didn't want to back him. Proof they should have & that Ole deserves another chance.
Until the hierarchy changes, nothing will.
How I read the Bruno situation :
🔻Based on the form from last season under Carrick, he had high hopes from this season.
🔻So he kept an eye on the Transfer window.
🔻No doubt United would have made verbal promises to him during signing his last contract about wanting to compete for the big trophies.
🔻Window turned out to be a massive disappointment but he still held hope that United might be able to recapture form from last season.
🔻That didn't happen and instead we tried to change our way of playing from last season.
🔻When it finally dawned on him we are embarking on another rebuild and written off season, he has made up his mind to leave.
🔻He is at the twilight of his career. A career that would have won many things at another club.
🔻Problem is that he has a contract that goes until 2027 and with an option for a further year.
🔻If Bruno wants to leave United will sell. But United would want to sell to Saudi clubs for big money.
🔻Bruno doesn't want the Saudi money. He wants to win something big in Europe before his club career comes to an end.
🔻He is running out of time.
🔻Catch is the European clubs who would want to buy him can't offer the same kind of money Saudi clubs can. 🔻So the only way to bring the price down is for Bruno to fall out with the club and put pressure on United to accept far less than what they'd get if a Saudi club came calling.
🔻That is the reason he is behaving unlike how he has behaved in an otherwise loyal United career. That is the reason for him doing it all publicly. He is trying to push a move.
🔻It is unfortunate but I understand why he wants to leave even if I can't support the way he is doing it, including publicly throwing Carrick - a United legend under the bus.
After months and months of trying,Amorim finally managed to win 2 games in a row and this guy came out of his hibernation igloo and dropped walking interviews and sit down podcasts on our head like we did something big💀
Not seen him open his mouth since then
Lindelof and Mctominay played to their potential and sometimes more under Ole. Preparing the conditions for a player to perform at their best - both on and off the pitch - is one of the hardest things to achieve at Manchester United. All the tacticians that come here fail at that
Who is this new Bruno and why is he behaving like an angsty kid that has just discovered Linkin Park in the 1st year of college 😭

You wouldn’t believe it now,but after this win,the entire focus of this dusted dishonest fanbase then was on the fact that some players danced in the dressing room to celebrate the victory.
Apparently this expression of joy was “Ole lowering standards”🫠

Carrick best still, Amorim worst
Carrick 46 pts in 25 games = 1.84 pts per game
Moyes 57 pts in 34 games = 1.68 pts per game
Rangnick 36 pts in 24 games = 1.5 pts per game
Amorim 58 pts in 47 games = 1.23 pts per game
Replying to @RonnLennon
Daniel, do you happen to know which of carrick, amorim, moyes and rangnick had the best league record? Guessing Moyes who prob feels quite hard done by though he did have course still have Ferguson's team at his behest. Think ole will be back as caretaker then nagelsmann.

Whatever happens with Carrick doesn’t change the fact that Amorim was worse, significantly. I have the same standards for Carrick as I did for Amorim. It’s those of you who defended Amorim who are being hypocritical going at Carrick now when you backed a guy with worse results
Prime example of a Manager who puts the club’s future above themselves. Instead of using a youth player to shirk responsibility. Rate this very highly. Some United legends are built different.
Always Captain material. No shade to Bruno but Ole was spot on about Maguire as Captain. Only Captain in post Fergie era to lead us to B2B Top 3 finishes. One of the best defensive records in the top 5 leagues in his first season marshalling the 5th youngest squad in PL history.
