Burnt Peanut simply played the game got dlc, the DBD community harassed him, then went after the developer with harassment and attempted doxxing, but somehow they’re turning around and blaming Peanut’s community, claiming THEY were the ones being attacked first?

i really am so blessed to have Eights 🤍
not only is he ridiculously smart, funny, (handsome asf too but you’ll never know) and genuinely my best friend, but he supports me in everything i do in a way i don’t think i could ever fully put into words. so much of what i’m able to do is possible because he’s there behind the scenes helping me, encouraging me, teaching me, fixing things, learning new things just so he can help me with them, and somehow always figuring out a way to make my ideas work.
and what makes it even more special is that he didn’t just support my weird little world from the outside- he stepped into it with me. he’s taken the time to understand what i do, learn the programs and tools i use, make genuinely amazing things of his own, and then turn around and use everything he’s learned to help me do even more. there are so many things i know how to do now because he took the time to figure them out first and teach me.
having someone who believes in you is one thing, but having someone who actively helps you grow, makes your ideas possible, solves problems you didn’t even know how to approach, and is still your best friend through all of it is something i will never take for granted.
@88probs i love you more than i’ll ever be able to express. because of you, i found myself again. you’ve given me the space, support, confidence, and love to become more of who i am, and i don’t think i could ever properly explain how much that means to me.

Can we take a collective deep breath about DBD for a second?
I don't care who they gifted skins to. It's a promo.
What I do care about is how exhausting this community can be when every little thing turns into an outrage campaign. It's okay to disagree with something without making it the next big DBD controversy.
BHVR should be taking a hard stance against anyone witch hunting, harassing, or doxxing their developers. That behavior is unacceptable, and in some cases, it's criminal. If we continue to normalize this kind of behavior, it's only going to get worse. The scum will spread.
And if this post hurt your feelings, maybe take a moment to consider why.
Not liking something does not give you the right to harass people, dox them, or otherwise behave like a vile human being.
