Not a single entity in the gaming industry criticized Sam Altman’s statement when he said “It’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer.”🚀 You know why? Because they’re all on the same page 👎Sony ending physical media 👎XBOX limiting streaming by hours and selling you extra hours like an escort service 👎Take-Two CEO telling the world physical media “makes no sense” and equated it with listening to music from vinyl, only to sell you 11 physical vinyl and CD variants of GTA6 soundtracks, and then proceeding to tell you streaming will be mainstream in just 3 years because of expensive hardware 🔴They want you to own nothing 🔴They want you to remain subscribed 🔴They want you to have no agency/options And then they use their terms which always start out as “for safety” then “for the kids” and then “for licensing”, they eventually yank everything you paid for, under the excuse of “you signed for the terms” or “but it’s just not profitable, tech is hard!” But when that happens, you won’t be able to do anything to change anything. So that’s the game industry for you That’s the tech industry for you Speak out before it’s too late NO DISC 💿 NO BUY
