Introducing Fairmint's Onchain Transfer Agent services offering. Not just tokens representing shares held in an offchain register. The official shareholder register itself is onchain, maintained by an SEC-registered transfer agent. Read the announcement: globenewswire.com/news-relea…

Tokenized stocks are following the stablecoin playbook. 85.7% of the $4.63B market is a US asset held in custody, distributed globally on public blockchains. → $4.63B is where stablecoins were in March 2020, before growing 64x to $297B → @BNBCHAIN, @solana and @ethereum carry 79% of the market → US-listed stocks and ETFs back 86.4% of it → $295M is already working in DeFi All courtesy of @tokenterminal & their excellent data.

The company that holds almost every US stock just put them onchain. .@The_DTCC's tokenization service went live today. - US Treasuries, index ETFs and Russell 1000 stocks, from a $30T eligible pool. - 34 securities tokenized at launch, each backed 1:1 with the same rights as the original - Live on @CantonNetwork and Besu now then @StellarOrg and @arc in 2027. - 20 firms on board, including @jpmorgan, @MorganStanley, @Citadel, @Fidelity and @AlpacaHQ. - Tokens are minted, moved 24/7 between registered wallets, and burned back any time. And just to clarify, this isn’t a wrapper, the token is the record of ownership itself.

same goes for tokenized stocks. More ways to trade a company's shares don't automatically translate into benefits for the issuer or its existing shareholders
Good news for a company does not necessarily mean good news for token holders of said company.

Existing tokens will migrate at a one-to-one ratio. 2️⃣ Holder economics remain intact. Governance rights and tokenomics will remain at least equivalent to current terms. Locked and vesting positions carry over unchanged. 3️⃣ DATA becomes native to Sui. The network will transition to run as a protocol on Sui, with its existing independent chain eventually being retired. 4️⃣ No immediate disruption. The current network will continue operating until the upgrade is complete. A detailed migration timeline will be announced ahead of the transition. This is more than a change of blockchain infrastructure. It’s a move toward integrating DATA’s vision for verifiable, rights-aware AI training data with Sui’s ecosystem. #DATA #Sui #AI #DePIN #Web3

You have USDT in your wallet, you enter the recipient’s address, and you expect the transfer to go through. Then the wallet tells you that you also need ETH. Why? Because USDT and ETH play different roles. A blockchain is a digital network that records and verifies transactions. You can think of it as a shared system that allows people to transfer digital assets without relying on one central company or database. A coin is the native currency of its own blockchain. For example: — Bitcoin (BTC) runs on the Bitcoin blockchain. — Ether (ETH) runs on Ethereum. — SOL runs on Solana. These coins are not just assets people buy and sell. They are also used to pay for activity on their respective networks. If you send BTC on the Bitcoin network, the transaction fee is paid in BTC. If you send ETH on Ethereum, the fee is paid in ETH. If you use the Solana network, fees are generally paid in SOL. A token, on the other hand, is a digital asset created on top of an existing blockchain. It does not need to operate on a separate blockchain of its own. USDT is one of the most familiar examples. It is a stablecoin designed to track the value of the US dollar, but it can be issued on several different blockchains, including Ethereum, Tron, Solana, and others. That means there is not just one version of USDT in every practical sense, the network it’s on matters. USDT held on Ethereum is different from USDT held on Tron or Solana because each version uses a different network. The balance may still be shown as USDT, but the transaction rules and fee requirements depend on the blockchain being used. This is where many people run into trouble. Suppose your USDT is on Ethereum. To send it, you will usually need some ETH in the same wallet to pay the Ethereum network fee. Your USDT is the asset being transferred, but ETH is what pays the network to process and confirm the transaction. Having enough USDT does not necessarily mean you have enough to send it. If your USDT is on Tron, you may need TRX instead. If it is on Solana, you will generally need SOL. The required fee currency depends on the network where the token is located. This is also why choosing the correct network when depositing or withdrawing crypto is so important. Sending an asset through the wrong network can cause delays, extra costs, or, in some cases, make the funds difficult to recover. Coins and tokens can also serve very different purposes. Some tokens are used for payments or transfers. Others give holders voting rights in a project. Some provide access to a product or service, while others are designed to represent assets, rewards, or ownership within a particular system. A coin is not automatically better, safer, or more valuable than a token. The distinction mainly describes how the asset relates to a blockchain. In simple terms: ➥ Blockchain: the network that records and verifies transactions. ➥ Coin: the native currency of its own blockchain. ➥ Token: a digital asset built on an existing blockchain. ➥ Network fee: the payment required to process a transaction. ➥ Fee currency: the coin used to pay that network fee. So, if you remember only one example, remember this: USDT may be the asset you want to send, but ETH, TRX, or SOL may be needed to pay the network fee, depending on where that USDT is held. Quick question; before today, did you know that ETH is a coin while USDT is a token?

But I think the more important question is: who is paying that money, and why? This question is what led me to Maple Finance. Maple has a product called Syrup, which gives users access to yield opportunities linked to institutional lending. Here’s a brief explanation: Imagine a crypto business that needs USDC to run its operations. It could sell some of its assets to get the money, or it could look for a loan. If it borrows USDC from a lending pool, it has to pay interest on that loan. That interest is one of the ways lenders can earn a return. This is the basic idea behind lending: one party needs money, another party provides it, and the borrower pays for the privilege of using that money. Maple brings this idea into the onchain world through its lending products. Instead of everything happening through traditional lending systems, parts of the process can be handled using blockchain infrastructure. There’s more to it than that, We often talk about DeFi as if it’s just swapping tokens, farming rewards, or looking for the next opportunity. But lending is another important part of it. There are borrowers who need capital, lenders looking for returns, and platforms trying to connect the two. Still, there’s something I wouldn’t ignore. Earning interest from a loan doesn’t mean the loan is guaranteed to be repaid. A borrower can run into financial problems and fail to repay. Even when a loan has collateral, that collateral might not be enough to cover the full amount owed. There are also risks linked to the platform, its smart contracts, and the terms of the product. So the next time you come across a DeFi platform offering attractive returns, don’t stop at the APY. Ask yourself: ➥ Where is the yield coming from? ➥ Who is paying for it? ➥ And what happens if the borrower can’t pay back the loan? These are important questions to ask before putting your money into any DeFi product. Because understanding how the money is made is just as important as knowing how much you could earn. So, what do you check first when you see a DeFi platform offering yield?

today, we learn more about Primus Primus Network is a system that helps blockchain apps trust or verify information from websites through cryptographic verification, without needing to blindly trust the person providing that information. the roles ● attestor node: this is a worker or verifier that helps check if the information is genuine before approving it. it runs the zkTLS software and processes verification tasks. ● developer: this is someone who builds an application that uses @primus_labs Network SDK, which is a collection of tools and code that makes integration easier. ● client: this is the person who actually uses the application by requesting verification through the app. get your XP journey started 👇

The lifecycle of data, as told by the DATA protocol on Sui: Someone contributes a voice clip. Trace records its origin and the rights attached to it. Seal encrypts it under a policy. Walrus stores and spreads it across the network. Nautilus processes it inside a secure enclave. The AI lab verifies the policy, decrypts the file, and pays the contributor. All of it runs on Sui. Trace has already registered more than 250 million contributions. DATA Network is moving onto Sui (with Walrus as its storage layer), backed by a $30 million investment from the Sui Foundation. The $DATA token carries over one-to-one. It’s a practical attempt to turn AI training data into something that can be sourced with clear provenance, controlled access, and actual compensation for the people who create it. @datafdn @SuiNetwork

What can you actually do on Eagle Top3 apart from cloud mining? Quite a few things, actually. If you’re exploring the platform for the first time, here are some of the features worth knowing about. 1. Start with your account Create an account and explore the platform. Eagle Top3 currently advertises a $0.25 welcome bonus and two free spins for new users. 2. Explore the wheel spin game You can also try the wheel spin game, another activity available on the platform. 3. Explore the mining plans Eagle Top3 has different miner plans, each with its own price, daily reward rate and lifecycle. Your miner produces Eagle Coin rather than paying mining rewards directly into your cash balance. 4. Learn about Eagle Coin Eagle Coin is the platform’s in-app digital asset. Depending on the available features and applicable fees, users can sell it to Eagle, transfer it to other users, or use it within the platform’s Services section. 5. Participate in referrals The platform has a three-tier referral system, giving users another way to participate by inviting others. Make sure you understand the qualifying conditions before getting started. 6. Complete community tasks Eagle Top3 also lists social tasks involving platforms such as Telegram, YouTube, TikTok and X. And these aren’t the only things to explore. There are other activities and campaigns within the Eagle Top3 ecosystem that I’ll be discussing separately. For now, the best place to start is to explore the platform, understand what each feature does, and read the terms before committing any money. Take a look here: eagletop3.com/register?ref=O… Always DYOR , before making deposits...
One of the interesting things about technology is how it keeps changing the way people participate in industries that once felt out of reach. Bitcoin mining is a good example. When people hear about mining, they often picture warehouses filled with expensive machines, huge electricity bills, and the technical knowledge needed to keep everything running. But what if someone wants to explore mining without setting up all that hardware themselves? That’s where cloud mining comes in. I’ve come across a project called @eagletop3compan that’s built around this idea. The platform offers mining plans that allow users to participate in its cloud-mining model, with rewards credited in Eagle Coin. I’m taking a closer look at how it works, what its mining plans offer, and what anyone interested should understand before getting involved. If you’ve ever been curious about cloud mining, this is worth exploring. Take a look at the platform here: 👇🏻
