The DATA Foundation is moving the DATA Network to @SuiNetwork, and four things stand out:
1οΈβ£ $DATA carries over 1:1. Existing tokens will migrate at a one-to-one ratio.
2οΈβ£ Holder economics remain intact. Governance rights and tokenomics will remain at least equivalent to current terms. Locked and vesting positions carry over unchanged.
3οΈβ£ DATA becomes native to Sui. The network will transition to run as a protocol on Sui, with its existing independent chain eventually being retired.
4οΈβ£ No immediate disruption. The current network will continue operating until the upgrade is complete. A detailed migration timeline will be announced ahead of the transition.
This is more than a change of blockchain infrastructure. Itβs a move toward integrating DATAβs vision for verifiable, rights-aware AI training data with Suiβs ecosystem.
