Behind the scenes peek!
So for #SuperDocile, I'm using what I call "NotMesh", which means I use a few lines of text and math to generate the 3d models in the game world. I built a visual editor so I can move these shapes around and resize them to dial in how a model will look.
So, a settler, a wolf, a truck, a gun, a tree, I build all of them the same way. I hang each shape on a joint as a box, and the text says where that box sits, how big it is, and what it's made of. Cloth, hide, metal, and wood come from one little sheet of pixel tiles, and the color tints the tile, so a tiny eye and a truck bed share the same chunky pixels. I do perform some simple operations to bezel or chamfer my primitive shapes, so not everything is always a smushed up cube.
To move something I write the joint angles out over a second or two... like, a breath while they stand there, legs swinging for a walk, a neck that slides out. I can also draw on the NotMesh, and flag things as different material, like a suit or hide, or carapace, and a backpack or a lamp only shows up when that gear is on. The game draws from this same file when it decides what you actually hit, so the hitbox system is basically derived from this, too, which is super convenient.
The big win, I think, is that the whole cast has to match, since a wolf can't suddenly look more detailed than the settler standing next to it, and I can recolor a suit or a hide without repainting the model. I'm not really a 3d modeller at all, and I wanted a system I could actually do, because I can actually finish the models by myself, and make quite a lot of content rapidly, which is good.
For many of the game systems, too, I'm using dice notation (This Dogfolk's bite is 1d4+STR Mod piercing damage, for example), which I have literally ~6700 hours in on Roll20 as a Forever DM, so I can very easily design in a dice-based systems space.
TLDR: I combined my experience with MCedit and Minecraft and RPG Dice based systems to make development of #SuperDocile really easy and approachable for myself.

The obsession with "empathy" has created a situation in which the exact opposite of empathy is mistaken for it. People who are unable to model the minds of others assume that other people only do bad things because of circumstances outside of their control. "I would never do that unless I had to, so neither would other people." That's not empathy. That's projecting your own thoughts and motivations onto others, which is the opposite of empathy.
This inability to model the minds of others hinders their ability to accept a fictional character who is motivated by things that would not motivate themselves. Such a character comes across as unbelievable to them.

🚨 SPACEX GROUNDS EUROPEAN SATELLITE PAYLOADS OVERNIGHT! 🚀
🇪🇺⚡
🚀 SpaceX Mission Control: "Effective today, all launch slots, rocket telemetry code, and orbital payload integration for European government satellites are revoked."
🇪🇺 EU Space Command: "This is space infrastructure warfare! Our climate tracking and defense satellites will be stranded on the ground indefinitely!"
🚀 Elon Musk: "You used arbitrary regulatory laws to slap billions in platform fines on X and Starlink. The launch contract is officially revoked." 🔥
🇪🇺 EU Space Command: "We will freeze SpaceX regional banking nodes and confiscate your European launchpad assets!"
🚀 Elon Musk: "Freeze whatever bank accounts you like. You still can't put a 5-ton defense satellite into orbit on paper regulation handbooks." 🔥🔥

I asked my Japanese friends who have visited America one question.
"When did you realize America was different?"
"A gas station clerk called me 'baby.' I am a 58-year-old man."
"A man in a Costco parking lot helped me load a TV. Then he asked if I needed help installing it at home. He was serious. He had a drill in his truck."
"Every dog owner told me the dog's name, age, and medical history. I now know a lot about one beagle's thyroid."
"In an elevator, a stranger said 'Going up?' and suddenly six people were talking about the weather like old classmates. Then the door opened, everyone said 'Have a good one,' and I never saw them again."
"Our Airbnb host left cookies, a map, and her cell number. 'Call if ANYTHING.' We called once, about the TV remote. She was there in eleven minutes. With a toolbox."
"The waiter told us his name was Tyler. He came back to check on us six times. We thought we were in trouble. We were not in trouble. Tyler just loved us."
And the last one came from the quietest friend I have.
"At the airport, going home, the officer looked at my passport. Looked at me. And said, 'Come back soon, okay?'"
"Nobody at an airport has ever wanted me to come back."

Anything the local Church opens up to the community as a resource is inevitably raided by the invaders who don’t belong here and much of the time don’t even live in the community the church is trying to serve. Food pantries, trunk or treats, etc you name it and it is abused and raided by the invaders.
Our kindness is weaponized against us. They drive up from three communities over, get everything handed to them, tell all of their friends who do the same, and never attend the Church or give back in any way. Most of them don’t even speak English or are actively worshipping pagan idols.
Churches frame this as “community evangelism,” but let’s call it what it is: theft.
Both by the people doing it and by the Church itself which does a disservice to both the members who donate their time, money, and resources in good faith and the local people who are their actual neighbors and fellow citizens who could use that help that is being plundered by invaders.
Big problem. No one talks about it.

Where nobody lives in America. All that green represents 0 population. We still have so much more room to grow as a country.

The green areas show U.S. Census blocks with zero reported population, but include protected national parks/wilderness, military bases, commercial/industrial zones, highways, and unsuitable terrain like mountains/deserts where development is restricted or impractical.
