This explains the high and artificially inflated fake GDP of the United States due to overpriced products and services!!
An American flew to Shanghai to get a lung cancer drug approved there for his mother, because although the medication was approved in the US, it was not yet commercially available. The story highlights differences in the pharmaceutical market and in pricing: While a nine-month supply in China costs around 10,000 US dollars, AstraZeneca's projected price in the US is estimated at 160,000 to 230,000 US dollars โ for the exact same medication from the same factory in Shanghai.

๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ Vance named the U.S.-Israel relationship as one of 4 reasons Republicans lost the midterms.
He cited the Iran War, inflation and the cost of living, voters demanding โAmerica First,โ and the relationship with Israel.
The statements cracked the admin open. Rubio has stayed quiet on the political cost and is still defending the decision as the price of leadership. Oil prices dropped after the post.
Vance challenged anyone who thinks the war was worth losing the Senate for 6 years to make that case publicly, adding that โeveryone knows why we lost.โ
The Israel issue was no throwaway line. Growing criticism of the partnership has put pressure on the administration as voters connect Middle East conflicts to rising costs at home.
For years, strong support for Israel was treated as a political given. The midterms are putting that assumption under pressure.

In 1980, Jimmy Carter lost the presidential election over the Iran hostage crisis.
In 2026, the Republican Party lost the midterm elections because of Trumpโs war with Iran. Moreover, members of Trumpโs cabinet, such as J.D. Vance and Marco Rubio are likely to lose the 2028 presidential election for this very reason, should they choose to run.
Take away: don't meddle with Iran.
History is full of irony.
In the 1980 election, Ronald Reagan, riding the fallout from the Iran crisis, launched the modern American conservative revolution. Its influence persists to this day and helped to shape Trumpโs political movement.
In the 2026 midterm elections, the war with Iran brought an effective end to this contemporary American conservative revolution - MAGA.
The Iran war may even burst the AI bubble.
This Middle East country has been shaping American history, in a very distinctive way.
Of course one may extend this observation to include another Middle East country - Israel.

๐จ๐จ๐ฆ JEWISH-OWNED KOSHER BAKERY IN CANADA BURNED TO THE GROUND AFTER TWO SUSPECTED ARSON ATTACKS IN 48 HOURS
A kosher bakery in Montreal, Canada, has been completely destroyed after being targeted twice in just two days.
The owners of Mimimelon, a family-run business operating for 11 years, watched their livelihood disappear in flames.
โThere is nothing to rebuild. Weโre going to have to scrap everything,โ the devastated co-owner said.
The bakery had previously faced antisemitic harassment, including a masked man shouting, โAll the Jews will burn.โ
Police are investigating both arson and possible hate motives, although they say there is no evidence yet confirming an antisemitic motive.
Imagine spending 11 years building a family business, only to wake up and find everything gone.

๐บ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ท Republicans already paid for the Iran war at the ballot box... and that may make another round more likely.
Trita Parsi says the political pressure to cut a deal faded once the midterms were over, while Democrats now hold the power to defund the war the way Congress ended Vietnam.
Funding runs out December 11, so the pro war side, with Netanyahu pressing hard, has to move fast:
"But if there's a stalemate in the talks for the next couple of days, I would be very worried."
A breakthrough in Qatar could still change everything, so the talks this week are the thing to watch.
@tparsi
๐บ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ท Trump is blaming Iranโs grip on Hormuz and high oil prices for the midterm wipeout... and that anger could shape his next move.
Trita Parsi, executive vice president of the Quincy Institute, says the confidence Trump carried into February has given way to frustration, with JD Vance going even further in tying the war to the losses.
Trita says Trump now sees Tehranโs strategy as personal:
โHe believes that the Iranians have deliberately dragged this out to destroy his presidency.โ
Decisions made in that frame of mind tend to be the hardest to walk back, which makes the next few weeks the most dangerous stretch of the war so far.

Ok, enough time has passed since the US elections for us to gently move beyond the liberal self-congratulatory burlesque, and deal in some harsh, cold truths. Here is my version of where we stand right now (which I may or may not share in a few months as an 'I told you'):
1. The US elections is a sideshow to the war in Iran and the turmoil in Europe. The empire has not been canceled, the Pentagon has not been dissolved and no one was fired at the CIA or any other shadowy agency. The progressive achievement symbolizes good general trends, but it is strictly a symbol. Actual power has not been transferred or qualified in any way.
2. The Democratic Party has 3 principal commitment:
A. Israel
B. The Democratic Party apparatus
C. The two-party system (aka the status quo)
First, the Democratic Party is Israel. It is run by Zionists at every level, everywhere in the US. To maintain their control, these Zionists now need to
- Separate Zionism from 'the Israeli government'
- Co-opt the Palestinian cause and make it about 'the two-state solution' and 'settler violence' once again. This will give Israel enough time to ethnically cleanse Palestine completely till Republicans win power again.
To support Israel in the current atmosphere they need to pretend to embrace some of the criticism ('it is sad when Palestinians suffer and die') while denying and nullifying its essence (Zionism is a great evil that must be eradicated in the name of humanity).
Zionists own and operate the Democratic Party. They will continue to support Israel. And, while we're at it, what they are most likely to do is finance and expand a war that the Republicans started.
After many soldiers die and West Asia becomes destabilized, the war will be about the future of the world and the region, and Democrats will be used to fake a wider (fake reluctant) American consensus for it. A big painful false flag or two will definitely help.
-
The Democratic Party apparatus does not want to become too popular: it is too much responsibility. So they will aim for losing, compromising and failing while having a fake robust debate. This is how they keep the apparatus strong and sheltered from both expectations criticism.
This is also how they prevent the possibility of serious action against Israel.
Additionally, by making the Republicans look stronger than they really are, they paint their uselessness in heroic hues. Which leads us to the next part.
-
In the two-party system, the two sides are always needed to maintain the false impression of a healthy and natural pendulum swing. So the Democrats will do their best to look stupid and disconnected on a couple of key issues to keep the Republican brand alive and Americans caught in the grasp of the system, which is mainly done by always giving one segment of society the false hope of change through the system in the future (forever alternating between Democrats and Republicans for just enough people so that no one side is actually ever responsible or accountable for anything).
The fake promise is the heart of the American political system (and the American experiment in general).
-
The Democrats exist to maintain the status quo on all issues. The main tools in its disposal are deceit and manipulation (cooptation, pretend solidarity, feigned ignorance, fake empathy, flattery, playing both sides, distraction, obfuscation, misrepresentation and so on). Expect a ton of those, as the radical tones of election day give way to fake sobriety and the intricate needs of the process and the standards and traditions (yada yada).
3. Democrats will continue to serve the long-term interests of the empire, corporate America and Israel - all wrapped in just enough partisan lingo to keep liberals the right mix of deluded, angry and afraid to do or demand nothing concrete while remaining committed to the party. This is all they need to do to maintain their power, and all they care about. And this is what Israel and their corporate owners push them to do as well.
4. For Trump, this is an ideal scenario: he was at once removed from all responsibility for the state of the USA. Whatever gets fucked from now on will be blamed of the Democrats (a game they willfully participate in to keep the two-party deceit going).
Now he is free to do what he enjoys: play bully and victim, and create noise and distractions by constantly fighting with everyone and using his platform to insult them and deflect from his failures, all while enjoying the generous attention and coverage the Democrat-controlled media space will continue to afford him as part of the big deception.
The coming economic crises will be blamed on the Democrats and their obstructionism: many supposed liberal pundits will support this view - again, to keep the lie going.
Trump has two main goals for the rest of his term:
A. Create a big mess the Democrats will not be able to solve, which will make the Republicans looking good in a couple of years. A war with Iran could be just that (and if that sounds absurd, remember Trump himself ran on ending wars that another Republican president started, and Democrats continued: the same could happen again in 6 years with another Trump after Democrats, shockingly (!) choose to continue the war/s).
B. Amass enough money for himself and his kids to never be bothered again by anyone.
And also have fun making a mockery of everything and everyone - which the Democrats will help him with, for reasons I already explained.
-
Real life is about to bring this fuzzy phase to an abrupt and likely violent end. After that, we'll have the same old, only dumber and faker.
Nothing happened but an indication of a trend. Power-wise, this means absolutely nada.
Liberals are hopeful, but not even as hopeful as they were when Obama was elected. We all know what happened next.
-
Only Iran can save the US, and that's by handing it a catastrophic, traumatic defeat. Everything else is cosmetics: easily nippable buds.
Nothing has changed yet.

Hegseth head is on the chopping block for Iran War failures.
Trump has described Hegseth as a key proponent of the unpopular conflict, saying on Mar 23: "Pete, I think you were the first one to speak up, and you said, 'Let's do it, because you can't let them have a nuclear weapon.'"
On Wednesday, Vice President JD Vance publicly questioned whether the Iran war was worth it and said it cost Republicans control of Congress.
Trump will have to cut Hegseth before the Democrat controlled Congress impeach him.

๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ท ๐บ๐ธ Eisenkot just won 67 recommendations to replace Netanyahu... and a new war with Iran could be Netanyahuโs way back in.
Danny Citrinowicz, who once ran the Iran branch of Israeli military intelligence, says Netanyahu wants to repeat what he did after October 7, when the war pulled Benny Gantz into a government Netanyahu controlled:
โIt will create the notion of emergency. Weโre fighting our biggest enemy, and we have to have a government under him.โ
With the window in Washington closing once the new Congress is sworn in, Netanyahu is pressing Trump hard to strike now, before that chance disappears for good.
@citrinowicz
๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ท๐บ๐ธ Netanyahu could be DAYS AWAY from losing power, but he may still have TIME TO PUSH Trump into another war with Iran.
I spoke with former Israeli intelligence official Danny Citrinowicz as Netanyahu's political future became increasingly uncertain.
Israel's opposition is working on a deal that could put Gadi Eisenkot in power, and Danny believes Netanyahu has almost NO viable path to forming another government.
But there's something that worries him.
Netanyahu could see another war with Iran as his last chance to create a national emergency, pull opposition leaders into a unity government and save his political career.
And Trump's crushing midterm defeat has made the situation even more urgent.
Danny believes the window for another American strike could close once the new Democratic-controlled Congress takes office in January.
We also discussed a rather disturbing consequence of the Iran war.
Danny thinks the conflict may have STRENGTHENED Iran's hardliners and pushed Tehran closer to considering nuclear weapons.
Another bombing campaign, he argues, could make that problem even worse.
But what surprised me most was his assessment of Israel itself.
Danny believes Netanyahu's attempts to undermine the election results pose a greater immediate danger to Israeli democracy than another confrontation with Iran.
And he thinks replacing Netanyahu could be the first real opportunity to change course.

๐จ HIV is no longer a terminal illness.
With modern treatment, people diagnosed with HIV can now expect to live a near-normal lifespan.
In the 1980s and early '90s, an HIV diagnosis often meant death within years. Then came antiretroviral therapy, or ART, a daily drug combination that keeps the virus from copying itself.
A study of 88,504 patients in 18 European and North American groups, published in The Lancet HIV, found that life expectancy for 20-year-olds starting treatment rose by about 10 years for men and 9 years for women between 1996 and 2010. For a 20-year-old who began treatment in 2008 to 2010 and had the virus under control within a year, expected lifespan reached about 78, close to that of the general population.
Newer drugs are simpler, with fewer side effects, and people whose virus is suppressed to undetectable levels don't pass it on through sex. That turns HIV into a manageable long-term condition, much like diabetes.
To be clear, those gains depend on getting diagnosed and starting treatment early, and they haven't reached everyone equally, with people who started treatment late or who had injected drugs faring worse. Still, it's one of the great medical turnarounds of our lifetime, and the next push is making sure everyone gets tested and treated in time.

๐จ๐บ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ฑ AIPAC just watched two thirds of its midterm money go up in smoke, and its own donors arenโt being told the full story
Eli Clifton, the Quincy Institute analyst who co-wrote Israelโs Lobby, tracked more than $84 million spent through AIPACโs super PAC, the United Democracy Project, and found $55.3 million of it, nearly two thirds, went into races that lost, a collapse from its usual success rate of well over 66%.
The biggest single target was Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan, where more than $22 million was spent against him and he still won.
Eli found over 90% of the $50,000-plus donors behind that money came from outside the state, with Republican megadonors Paul Singer and Jan Koum the two largest.
The war was the headwind AIPAC couldnโt spend its way past.
The lobby spent 20 years cheerleading it, and voters felt the bill at the gas pump and the grocery store... which means the money didnโt just lose, it bought the thing that beat it.

States that have been red for decades are now blue. Broken promises, the unpopular war with Iran, backfiring tariff policies, and the deeply flawed execution of immigration policy alienated the very voters who built the MAGA movement. The 2026 US midterms delivered a clear rejection of the Trump administration, with Democrats on track to take both the House and the Senate. Voters in Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Ohio, and other longtime Republican strongholds cited soaring costs of living, tariffs, and the unpopular war in Iran as their top concerns.
The backlash also hit the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party. At least four members lost their seats, including three Republicans already confirmed out and Young Kim, the South Korean-born representative who spent the campaign warning Americans that China was too dangerous to visit. In a rare twist, Kim will be defeated by a fellow Republican after their districts were merged.
This video breaks down the results, the specific losses on the anti-China committee, and the reaction to Kimโs latest posts claiming Americans face โwrongful detentionโ and โexit bansโ in China. Comments under her tweets were blunt: people who actually visit China come back realizing the scaremongering doesnโt match reality.
With Democrats in control, the Select Committee faces an uncertain future and must be re-approved in the new Congress. Was the scale of the midterm swing a surprise? Will the anti-China committee survive under Democratic leadership?
