I came to Dubai for the first time 4 years ago after hitting my first $25,000 month in commissions as a sales rep.
At the time, that number felt fucking enormous.
I remember being here thinking I had finally started to crack the code.
Years of making fuck all, years of cold calling, years of wondering when the sacrifice would eventually start paying me back.
$25k in a month was the first real proof.
I had a little cash in my pocket, and I was able to have a little nibble of what a good life looks like.
I loved every second of that holiday, and it's why I always have fond memories and a soft spot for Dubai.
Today Iβm flying home from Dubai under completely different circumstances.
DealFuel has now crossed $800,000 in sales this month, and I think we can finish on $900,000.
When I land, one of the things waiting for me is signing the lease on a new office built to house around 40 people.
That sentence feels ridiculous compared to where I was 4 years ago, and even writing it feels strange.
And thatβs probably the bit people donβt talk about enough.
Sometimes your life moves faster than your identity does.
You remember when $25k felt like the ceiling.
Then one day youβre discussing $800k months, 40 person offices, payroll, acquisitions and hiring plans like theyβre normal operational conversations.
The numbers change before your brain fully catches up.
That is why Iβm careful with what I allow myself to call βbigβ.
Every number that once intimidated me eventually became familiar.
Every milestone I thought would change everything eventually became another line item in a much bigger plan.
Reality has spent the last few years repeatedly proving to me that my imagination was actually too conservative.
I MUST THINK BIGGER.
I wont celebrate this month by putting my feet up, instead I WILL REWARD MYSELF WITH AN UPDATED TARGET.
THE BIGGEST ONE YET!
Four years ago $25k changed the way I saw my future.
Today $800k has done the exact same thing.
I WANT THE LARGEST RECRUITMENT COMPANY FOR SALES REPS IN THE WORLD.
I WANT TO OPEN AN OFFICE IN NYC.
I WANT THE BEST SALES REPS IN THE WORLD USING DEALFUEL TO SECURE ROLES.
I WANT A 50 PERSON SALES FLOOR IN PERSON.
I WANT $100M IN REVENUE.

I built a Q3 retrospective analysis and shared it with my team. Included all our milestones, shoutouts for top performers, and goals as we pace towards 2027.
I do these every monthly and then every quarter with even more depth.
I do these because they unify the team.
It gives context to the hard work and effort everyoneβs putting in.
It shows people where they contributed and the tangible outcomes which the work led to.
It makes standards visible, everyone can see where everyone stands.
It removes ambiguity around what matters next and where resources are best allocated.
Now I know that everyoneβs rowing in the same direction.
When a company has aligned focus, clear incentives and a shared direction, the output becomes insanely high.
Departments support each other because they can see the wider picture.
Work stops feeling like a collection of isolated tasks and starts feeling like a coordinated attack.
Alignment is one of the greatest force multipliers in business.
I also think there is something call about having it all documented and written down.
One day when DF is doing $25M per year, I will be able to read all of these monthly reports.
So far, I've got a report from our first $100,000 month all the way to our most recent, just shy $800,000.
Q3 was full of lessons that weβve collectively extracted and applied as we get closer to 2027.
Standards have never been higher, and intensity is the highest itβs been in a long time.
But as demands have stepped up, so has the team.
September showed that as we finished just shy of our first 8 figure run rate month.
Weβre already at $662K thirteen days into October.

Iβve personally collected more than $10m in deals over the last several years. Ticket size ranging from $5k - $150k .
A lot of volume. Different avatars, sales cycles, totally different environments.
The number one thing Iβve learned is that thereβs no βtrickβ to closing deals or secret objection handling technique that you donβt know.
In fact, when Iβm coaching guys Iβll often help them βunlearnβ overly scripted phrases/techniques that have begun to actually CREATE more resistance rather than reduce it.
What is the βsecretβ then?
Awareness.
A good sales guy is almost able to typecast an avatar and speak to their objections without them ever being spoken.
Theyβre able to hear, just in tonality, what someoneβs level of intent is, what their position within the company/household is, and what blockers may/will come up as the conversation progresses.
How do you learn this skill?
Most reps donβt. You can either 1) take thousands of calls, review them, cross reference with how the conversation played out, and literally learn through trial by error or 2) have someone show you whatβs actually happening.
Both require effort btw. Itβs not something you can download and βgetβ immediately.
Oneβs just way faster than the other.

Processed the largest payroll in company history last week.
Across the wider team, I paid out nearly $300,000.
That was one of those moments where I sat behind the laptop and just stopped for a few minutes in silence.
Four years ago I was chasing my first $10,000 month in commission.
Now Iβm responsible for distributing numbers like this to the people helping me build the company.
That transition means more to me than almost any personal purchase ever could.
At the start, you chase money because you want to change your own life.
Then one day you realise the real flex is being able to create enough value that dozens of other peopleβs lives change with yours.
Biggest payroll ever and soon enough itβll look small compared to what we do next.

Extreme output requires extreme input. This is true no matter how much raw talent you have. No amount of complaining will change that. So suck it up, identify what you're most talented at, and get to work at getting better.

Bro sent a random lead my way from Upwork ages ago & it turned into a $2.5k/mo ghostwriting retainer.
What a guy
Summer 2021:
I just graduated Uni.
I came across copywriting & wanted to make money online that didn't involve cold-calling plumbers.
Sent a pretty goofy iPhone video to Fraser after seeing the results he was getting for himself/clients.
He gave me the time of day, sent me resources, got on a call with me.
All of which laid the marketing foundation I have today.
