Monday was the 3 year anniversary of my Dad’s death. Not just death, but his murder. He was made to get down on his knees in his own home and was shot in the head execution style.
I mention this not be graphic but so that people know what I’ve been dealing with every day for the last 3 years. Not knowing who, not knowing why. The Henderson police department never made any arrests and let the case go cold.
The last time I saw him was on my wedding day. The last time I spoke with him was to tell him I was pregnant with a boy. Now that boy is 2 1/2 and he’ll never get to meet him, go on a hike with him, give him a flower he picked from the yard or make him laugh. He was robbed of a Grandfather and I was robbed of precious years with my Dad who was in such good health he had a 6 pack at age 77. And it doesn’t get easier with time.

David Gaider, the original creator and former lead writer of the Dragon Age series, says he will never play Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Speaking to PC Gamer, Gaider said he has already heard enough about the game and knows it would be too painful to play because he would be “wincing the whole time.”
He also blamed EA for how the game was developed, saying:
“EA really did a number on them in terms of setting them up to fail.”
He also said he believes the Dragon Age series is “probably dead” under EA

Every game company just needs one average sixteen year old to play through the game and tell them which parts are "retarded and gay."
Being a game studio in 2026 is a harder than ever, to the point where one single underperforming game can put the entire studio at risk.
Dragon Age: Veilguard was the last game from BioWare to come out in 2024 with mixed reviews and it underperformed by 50% from EA’s expectations.
2 years later, EA shut down BioWare today.
The industry is brutal, it’s no wonder why AAA game studios don’t take huge risks with their games.
