I’d argue while he may end up being great, how you don’t have safety help over-the-top with your rookie on arguably the best WR in football right now.

I don't think there's a DB in history that stops those 2 throws, even tho Mansoor ALMOST got the 1st one....
Dammmm

Nohl Williams had 10 tackles against Seattle, a huge single-game showing for the young corner

I can't be mad at Delane. Dude went up against the best WR in the league right now and got beat by two absolutly incredible throws that most people would have been beat by. Very bright future for the young guys for sure.

exactly. he’s played 4 games in the NFL idc him and NOHL played great last night given the circumstances defensively if we get a pass rush we’re okay

Watching the game back, they both made mistakes that led to positive plays for the Seahawks, but they kept fighting to improve as the game went on. They are a joy to watch

Good morning to Nohl Williams who continues to to have a fantastic second season in the NFL. And yeah, Mansoor Delane got beat a couple times by awesome throws and catches last night but he’s putting himself in position time and time again to be successful. Young bright spots

I think both would've have elevated the offense. they played mostly zone and Rice thrives in zone. Thornton would've enabled Mahomes to take the dare to throw deep.

Tyquan Thornton was so important
I think his absence is more significant than Rashee Rice’s

Absolutely infuriating that Cyrus Allen catches the first pass of the game for 18 yards and then DOES NOT TOUCH IT AGAIN.

Maybe it’s because I'm used to European football, where players usually last longer than coaches, but an important task is to adapt to the players you have. No matter how good your scheme is in theory, it won't matter if you don't have players who can execute it

They played like absolute shit, and still could have been within a touchdown if the kicker makes a field goal. Take the loss to the defending superbowl champs who have the best defense in the NFL, who were desperate for a win. Glaring holes need to be fixed but season isn’t over

It’s insane to follow chiefs Twitter today. You couldn’t be more right about our record. I saw this game in the schedule when it came out and I wrote it in as a loss. Of course I wanted us to win, but what are we even doing here losing our minds? Win in Denver next week….

The Patrick Mahomes doubters are correct.
If you make him play with two backup tackles, no competent wide receivers, and a kicker whose roster spot should be in jeopardy, on the road against arguably the best defense in the NFL, he can be neutralized.

I could make that argument with every team in football. "They'll lose because of X"

Their metrics are fantastic. Look at the AFC. Who do you watch and think is better? The Bills have no defense. The Broncos have no offense. Etc

What I don't understand is people acting like their on-paper "most difficult schedule" automatically means they're going to lose games in the future. Their next four games are all very winnable.
If you play bad against anyone, odds are, you lose.
