Have you checked out our State of the Grasslands report yet? Bobolinks are in decline in most places in the U.S., but rebounding at restored sites in IL. This report is an important first step to replicating this success elsewhere. ow.ly/6zYH30msU3P

"Organic", "fair trade", and "shade-grown" coffee are all great steps toward social and environmental sustainability, but "bird-friendly" takes care of all three and then some, by making sure all the ecological factors necessary for birds to thrive are present.
Happy #FeatheredFriday! Golden-winged Warblers are a truly gorgeous bird! Unfortunately the migratory species has declined >60% since the 1960s. Loss of tropical wintering habitat is one reason for the decline & #BirdFriendly coffee is one way to confront this loss. #Ornithology
