My personal thoughts on GME warrants and what Ryan is doing.
The people calling the GME warrant dividend useless completely miss how these mechanics work. RC didn’t drop GMEW into the market just to do it. It was a specific chess move designed to mess with how Wall Street hedges risk. With the Oct 30 expiration next week, we’re finally at the end of this experiment and what that means for retail shareholders. Look at why they did it. Normally when GME raises cash through an ATM offering the media instantly spins it to kill momentum by saying Management is diluting again. It gives shorts an easy narrative to hide behind.
The warrant dividend flipped that. Giving 1 warrant for every 10 shares at a 32 strike put the capital timeline back in retail's hands. If the price stays under 32, zero dilution happens. But if volume picks up and pushes the stock past 32, those warrants get exercised. That means investors willingly choose to dump up to 1.9B in pure cash straight into the company treasury. No middleman banks, no underwriter fees, and the media can’t cry about predatory dilution because the share price would already be at multi-year highs. There’s also the bondholder angle. GME had to hand these out to convertible senior noteholders to cover anti dilution clauses. Institutions love using a delta hedging short strategy against convertible debt for risk free arbitrage. Shoving warrants directly into their hands satisfied the legal covenants without causing a messy scramble in the open market, keeping the float structurally stable during heavy volatility.
Right now GMEW is trading at a massive discount because we’re under 32, so it’s mostly just decaying time premium. But look at the two outcomes for next week If we stay under 32 and they expire worthless, the 59 million potential shares hanging over the capital structure just vanish. The overhang is wiped the float stays locked and the bear thesis about upcoming dilution completely dies.
But if the stock catches any real momentum over the next few days and creeps toward 32 market makers short these warrants are in a brutal spot. To stay delta neutral they’ll have to aggressively buy underlying common shares which could easily spark a mini short squeeze right before the deadline. Bottom line is Cohen built a setup where the company wins either way. GME either cleans its capital structure completely or locks in a massive war chest for acquisitions. I'm bullish I cant foresee the future or what will come of the warrants but its important that everyone does whatever they want with their money at the end of the day.
Pretty interesting - right @pulte ?
The CEO of $OPEN replying with gratitude to FHFA Director @Pulte’s post. In which he announces that mortgage loan processors must now automatically remove of PMI from eligible mortgaged properties when they hit equity thresholds.
Probably nothing.

Thank you! Title acceptance is a great program and it tilts the world in favor of homeowners!

An older exchange from February 19, but this caught my eye 👀 Pulte asking about Opendoor’s mortgage product, and Kaz offering to give him a demo.
With housing affordability such a big issue, I’m glad to see this conversation happening. It doesn’t mean a partnership, but I’d love to know how that demo went! 😆🏡 $OPEN
As I’m listening to this 1 year old Ted Talk while researching $OPEN (new Long Position for me), I can’t help but notice the presenter of @ownify close his keynote by stating that they are building there future of home ownership “Brick-by-Brick”. Where a “Brick” represents a 1/10,000 UNIT of ownership in the property.
Does anyone else find this relevant or interesting?

The $OPEN Pulte connection must be considered!
