Technology has enabled humanity to take vacations from survival. Definitely my favorite definition of abundance.

Tom Tykwer, the director of Run Lola Run, is making Volcano High with playwright Bonn Park, who directs it. They shoot live action, then use Seedance 2.5 on top of the footage.
In one scene three actors lean into the camera and sing. Seedance turned them into a crowd of 20. Tykwer says it just works, and they'll use it more often.
Bonn Park wanted one continuous take where the camera spins around a gym. The model had to remember what was on each side of the room when the camera came back. A test shoot proved it could.
Their producer's favorite moment: a water bottle prop came back as a microscope.
AI isn't replacing the crew here. A director with real taste chose to put it into how a film gets made.

One answer to what's driving GPU rental prices:
Token demand on OpenRouter is up ~27x since last November, from ~6T/week to ~165T/week
Open-weight models now handle ~72% of those tokens, up from ~28% last November

Zooming out, GPUs are still renting ahead of a standard 6-year depreciation schedule
Rental price vs. schedule:
- H200: +143%
- B200: +111%
- RTX PRO 6000: +73%
- H100: +54%
- A100: +9%
Most of the gap opened up after April, when token demand took off

Spot #Bitcoin ETFs took in $528.40 million on October 21, a third straight positive day. The number that matters is that eight of twelve funds bought and not one of them sold.
I saw this by my house yesterday.
My first reaction was not awe.
After some laughter, I said "COOL!"
A black and white Cybertruck parked with the door open, someone in uniform in the driver's seat. The yoke and center screen look right at home in there. #Cybertruck

We are coming up on Halloween so I'm thinking about scary stories.
I think we can do it in two words: "Government AI"
What two words are the most scary for you?

Not my experience. The most productive positive people I know agree with @PeterDiamandis … there world isn’t a better place if we think we can leave some behind.
When I read that Amazon was blocking bots, I thought of all the e-commerce competitors who were hearing it and cheering.
We don’t need Xamazon. There are easily hundreds that are great companies that would love a little TLC in attaching their stores to Grokbot and creating many new and better options for customers.
I say this as a super fan of Amazon. Even the best die a quick death when they fight progress.
I have no fear that my AI is listening in and plotting.
Proof: the answers I get back from prompts. Angie keeps asking me about the rants I share with her.
Just like humans, my AI is baffled by my thinking.

I find all this talk of personhood to be hilarious.
But since I start treating my agents like I want to be treated, I feel much better myself.
You would do well to study @dennisyu’s thinking on agent management.
I use systems like this because I have 14 ideas well simultaneously chatting with 3-4 agents. I am not good at multitasking (no one is… it's a myth).
I often have to stop and think of 1-3 things I need to get done as a priority, but I forgot to do this with agents until recently when I
1) Told my Chief of Staff to rank priorities and pick 3
2) He can run unlimited tasks… but we prioritize on what needs focus
3) Keep a ledger of Work Orders.
4) Create a desktop widget so I don't start exploring in the task list. Just what CoS needs from me.
TL;DR Don't be a slave to your agents. Give them everything, and they'll learn not to bother you.
I've been using this four-color stoplight method so I can quickly figure out what's important, especially since agents will often send me paragraphs of stuff.
