Every wallet on every major blockchain is protected by a lock that a big enough quantum computer opens. Not weakens. Opens. And because blockchains are public, the locked boxes are already sitting out in the open. Whatever gets signed today and still has to be valid in 2040 — a land title, a song's royalty split, a game item someone paid for, a company's share register — is signed with a key that will not survive that long. For the last six months we have been quietly running a chain that signs with the new lock instead. The one the US government standardised for exactly this problem in 2024. It is called QMC. It has produced a block every 30 seconds since March — more than 488,000 of them — and this week it did four things worth telling you about. It moved real value onto Soneium through a bridge whose token now has no owner at all. Nobody, including us, can change how it mints. That is on-chain and verified, not a promise. It tests every block against a piece of mathematics that is a century old. Chaotic quantum systems produce a spectrum where no two notes ever land on the same pitch; random noise and pretend-quantum pile up. The same law governs the zeros of the Riemann zeta function. We turned it into a rule a block must pass. You do not need a quantum computer to check it. You need the seed and the equation, and both are public. It already ran on a real quantum processor. 197 blocks, 1,000 shots each — 197,000 measured shots. We recounted the live chain this week. Currently we are doing updates for other QPU testing such as Brasket , Heron Eagle etc . Now it shows as Quantum Sim.
