"We would like to wish all our amazing local businesses good luck today.
We know it has been a long and challenging few months, so please remember to be kind, patient and support local.
Have an amazing re-opening day and stay safe!" - Lucy Beckwith Chair of Beckenham BID

As an #NHS worker, I suggest anyone for #WeWillNotComply officially state that they will not use the NHS if they fall sick and that they will pay funeral costs for those they happily managed to infect by their nonchalance and irresponsibility

It’s with great sadness that we will be temporarily closing from Friday 9 October. More information here: picturehouses.com/closure

On 14 July 1978 the seminal Grunwick strike ended. South Asian women incl my Aunt (2nd frm right) took a stand as exploited workers collectively confronting racism at work. They changed history. I stand on strong shoulders #changemakers #distuptors #fearless

A busy day at Foodbank as we linked our new evoucher system with our new delivery service. Operations that normally take months achieved in weeks as we stand together to serve our most vulnerable within Bromley.

In addition to their wool shop, independent family run @AvicraftWool have an online store, stocking yarns from most of the well known yarn houses for all tastes and budgets. Please show them some #BeckBromFL support by giving them a follow! wowbromley.co.uk/listings/Av… #Lovelocal

Amazing response so far to @LBofBromley's call for #Volunteers! We're working hard to match volunteers with vulnerable #Bromley residents. If you registered to volunteer & haven't heard from us yet, we'll be in touch with you in due course! #Coronavirus #COVID19 #Volunteering
Thank you to the thousands of assistance volunteers who have responded to the Council’s appeal with @CommLinksBrom co-ordinating the volunteer response and helping to match volunteers bit.ly/3aJUZ86

So the weather’s hot, what’s more important? Your hour in the sunshine or a person’s life?
That #NHS worker who hasn’t got the right kit.
That person you passed or their family.
#StayHomeSaveLives and just be glad you’re not grieving like others

Like so many closed businesses, we are unable to make any kind of income currently. But you really could help us and boost our reputation by leaving us a facebook or google review?
It would mean so much to us and it’s something to occupy you for a while too!

“How much tea do we have?”
“Around 17,000 bags”
“That’s awful, it’s not fair to stockpile”
“I didn’t, that’s how many we normally have”
