Sincerely, adulthood isn't cool.
One minute you cannot pay school fees, the other minute data is dancing and crying with you. Another minute, your foodstuff is out. Maybe, your house rent is even winking at you. π«π«

Some people are still showing up at work, but mentally, they have already resigned.
They are just doing the bare minimum, watching the clock, and counting down the days until they finally walk away.

I want to travel the world, not just for vacations, but for work, conferences, summits, volunteering, workshops, education, and opportunities to make a real impact.

People will love who they love and hate who they hate. You have little control over that. But you should have enough wisdom to avoid repeatedly placing yourself in the crossfire of people whose hostility towards you is already obvious, especially when there is little to gain from doing so.
Even a battle-ready soldier, fully equipped with armour and weapons, understands the importance of positioning, taking cover and avoiding unnecessary exposure to enemy fire. Being prepared for battle does not mean walking into every fight.
You are entitled to your opinions and convictions. You can express them freely while exercising discretion about the situations you enter and the battles you choose. If your own conduct repeatedly creates avoidable controversy, you should be willing to examine your choices.
As parents, what exactly are we teaching our children about recognising danger, exercising restraint and choosing their battles if we cannot apply those lessons ourselves?
Even if Elon Musk tweets in solidarity with you and hundreds of accounts defend you, their support does not automatically make your decisions wise.
And truly, this app loves no one and hates no one. Public sentiment can turn remarkably quickly. Those defending you today may be the ones tearing you apart tomorrow.
Unless you enjoy the attention and negative energy, whatever validation or financial benefit you may derive from these controversies deserves to be weighed against the potential cost to your mental well-being, reputation and future.
Some things are just basic wisdom.

Stop letting people who donβt live your life dictate how you should live it.
When it comes to your private life, think critically before making decisions. You know the full story, the sacrifices, the struggles, and the consequences better than anyone watching from the sidelines.
Your life is not a committee project. Your peace of mind is not up for public debate. Protect your mental health and take back control of your decisions.
Your private life is not a public referendum. Not every decision requires public approval, and not every situation deserves public explanation. Protect your mental health.

See, if you like someone, tell them. If there is something you want from them, be upfront about it.
All this pretence of love and affection just to manipulate people into giving you what you want is gutter behaviour.
Then, when they see through it and refuse to play along, you start acting like you have been wronged.
The problem was never your request or how badly you needed something. It was your attempt to manipulate them into giving it to you.
Have some self-respect. Accept that people can see through your games and want no part in them.

People give what they carry inside.
Confident people uplift.
Kind people include.
Mature people communicate.
Healing people set boundaries.
Focused people don't compare.
Growing people let go.
Secure people celebrate others.
How people treat you often reflects what's within them.
It doesn't define your worth.
Keep your head up.

Iβve always believed that as a man, you should never stop working on becoming a better version of yourself. But thereβs something truly special about having a woman in your life who makes you want to be better, not because she asks you to change, but simply because of who she is, how she loves, and the way she makes you feel.
When someone means that much to you, becoming a better man isnβt just about yourself anymore.οΏΌ

You can show up for someone over and over again, and they can still turn around and pour sand in your face. Thatβs life.
You can be there for someone when they have nothing. You can answer their calls, bail them out when theyβre stuck, celebrate their wins, pray for them, support their dreams, and stand by them when everyone else walks away.
Yet, one day, that same person can turn around and hurt you, betray your trust, or even lie against you.
And it will hurt. Deeply. Because you are human, and your kindness was genuine.
But please, donβt let someone elseβs bad behaviour turn you into a bitter person.
Cry if you need to. Be angry if you have to. Give yourself time to process the pain. You donβt have to pretend youβre okay when youβre not.
But when youβre done grieving, get up, dust yourself off, and keep moving.
Not everyone you help will appreciate you. Not everyone you love will love you with the same sincerity. Not everyone you stand up for will stand up for you when itβs your turn to need support.
But donβt let their actions change the good person you are.
Remain kind, but become wiser. Forgive, but learn. Love, but set boundaries. Help people, but donβt destroy yourself trying to save them.
You donβt have to become a bad person because you encountered one.
Just learn that not everyone deserves the same level of access to your life, your heart, your time, and your resources.
Keep your good heart. Just be more careful about who gets to benefit from it. β€οΈ

There are job roles and professions that require absolute confidentiality. You would always have issues if you βtalk too muchβ.
Clinical therapy
Personal security
Personal Assistant
Defense lawyer
Healthcare worker (especially those working in sensitive areas such as HIV/AIDS services)
Security guards (Gatemen)
Personal drivers
When you talk about others too often or at the slightest opportunity, no one trusts you.
