Il est difficile en lisant l'encyclique Mystici Corporis Christi du Pape Pie XII de ne pas penser à une certaine thèse qui voudrait que les modernistes dirigent l'Église juridique mais sans "la mission dite invisible du Saint Esprit"...
@Praxisdecombat Qu'en penses-tu ?

4 Positions Regarding Apostolic Succession and Jurisdiction Under the Present Circumstances:

Matthieu 7:6

CHURCH FATHER: BEFORE ANTICHRIST, THE CHURCH WILL GROW WEAKER, AND HER VISIBLE SIGNS WILL DARKEN
St. Pope Gregory the Great’s “Moralia on Job” is a truly astounding work. Completed near the end of the 500’s, it was so penetrating in its mystical and spiritual analysis of Job that even St. Thomas Aquinas, in his own commentary, completely skipped the spiritual reading of Job, saying Gregory had done it so well “that nothing further need be added to this sort of commentary.”
In the Moralia, St. Pope Gregory the Great reads the story of Job (partly) eschatologically, and speaks multiple times about how the Church will be profoundly weakened before the arrival of Antichrist, but that this is ultimately to the benefit of the elect, and permitted by God to bring the reprobate into condemnation.
It’s a very humbling and eye-opening observation to read, for Gregory constantly sees in such things God opening highways of mercy and reward for the truly righteous, if only they refuse to be scandalized, which turns Catholics into heretics, schismatics, and apostates.
This is just one of several observations he makes on this front:
“While Holy Church appears more commonplace in this way, deprived of the power of signs, it happens both that the rewards of good people grow greater, because they venerate the Church in the hope of heaven and not because of the signs that she presents, and the minds of bad people are quickly shown to be against the church; they neglect the following of the invisible reality that she promises, because they are not impressed by visible signs.
Accordingly, since the humble faithful are deprived as it were of the multitude of manifest signs, the hidden plan holds a terrible trial, more generous in mercy for those who are good but heavier in righteous anger for those who are bad.
So before Leviathan [Antichrist] becomes manifest and conspicuous, in large part the signs of power in Holy Church cease, and we are told, ‘Poverty goes before his face’ (Job 41:13).”

Wow. That screenshot 😬 The more I read Thesis clergy explain Thesis ideas the clearer it becomes that they have simply made up ideas.

Father, I must insist because I do not see how the quote from Van Noort can be reconciled with the thesis. Have you a specific answer to this problem ? Especially since I found this quote in a book from Bp. Sanborn that you should know I guess.

When reading Pope Pius XII's encyclical Mystici Corporis Christi, it's difficult not to think of a certain thesis that the modernists would direct the juridical Church but without "the invisible mission of the Holy Spirit".

They cannot be preserved separately. One who has only material succession has no formal succession and therefore no succession at all. The opposite is not true. One cannot have formal succession without having material succession. So they cannot exist at the same time in two different groups of people where one has formal succession and the other has the material part. This is completely new theology with no basis in what any Catholic theologians have taught.

Fr. I have a question for you : If the modernists are not the formal successors of the apostles and the theologians say that the apostolic succession requires that "no one in the entire series ever lost his mission", why do you hold that they preserve the apostolic succession ?

“How dare they lay these ridiculous notions at your feet, your excellency. Can they not see how burdened you are? How wearied? Theyll destroy everything. No, no, we must wait for the novus ordo cardinals to elect a true Pope. It’s the only safe thing to do”

No, Father, everything is definitely not all right. In case you haven't noticed, for 68 years we haven't had a Pope, while heretical false Popes have been destroying the faith of Catholics all over the world and appointing equally heretical Cardinals to ensure the indefinite continuance of their new sect, just as the Protestants continue to spread their errors today after 500 years.
Meanwhile, a certain bishop and his priests with a large social media following have been increasingly vocal in spreading the erroneous notion that these heretics are the only true clergy in the world today, and that we simply have to wait for them to elect someone Catholic to the papacy, while true bishops and priests are just laymen with zero jurisdiction and zero ability to do anything—a position which presumes complete paralyzation or rather complete cessation of the Church's mission to authoritatively teach the truth and condemn error as she has for 2,000 years.
To make matters worse, this bishop and his priests misrepresent the arguments made by other clergy and make false claims about what theologians say on matters of jurisdiction in general, jurisdiction for confession, jurisdiction as it pertains to papal elections, and various other points.
I would think for anyone who loves the Church, this is not alright. When the Jansenist errors were being spread around France, threatening to do grave harm to souls because they were being spread by clergy who claimed to be Catholic and who were among the educated, St. Vincent de Paul made every effort to open the eyes of the bishops to the gravity of the situation and to plead with them to firmly condemn this new error lest it continue to confuse the minds of the faithful.
Everything will not be alright until the Thesis error and the R&R errors are abandoned as the false solutions they are.

Perhaps, then, you and Bishop Sanborn should be devoting yourselves to meeting with these Cardinals like the SSPX does in order to fall on your knees and beg them to save the Church, which, according to you, they alone have the power to do.
While you're at it, you could offer some joint public prayers with them since, according to the Thesis, you and they are part of the same Church and, therefore, are united in faith, worship, and government.
