I am grateful to have been a part of this work!
I really enjoyed using @DeepLabCut and B-SOiD @runninghsu to perform behavioural classification in ~185 hours of video.
This would not have been possible without these tools.
New work from the lab is out in @eLife! We used an experimenter-free touchscreen testing system from @phenosys to examine effects of activity-based anorexia on flexible learning & vice versa 🐁📲 @MonashBDI elifesciences.org/articles/8…

DWI signals in putamen and globus pallidus are usually very low, but this dataset has enough SNR to allow for fiber tracking.

Excited that around 500 copies of our Connectomic Deep Brain Stimulation book sold. You never know how books go and not a high absolute number but given the size of the field very happy we pulled this off and motivating for a 2nd edition.
🙏🙏 everyone!

The fight for equity can be laced with luxury.
Don’t be mistaken.
Grace and grit.
Peace and perseverance.
Radical and rest.
Can be held in the same vessel.
Fight in the way that reflects who you are, what you stand for, and what you don’t.
Happy Dr. King Day 2023🖤
