4 data leaks reported today:
1. Coinbase's vendor Amplitude exposed some users’ contact data (funds unaffected).
2. Bithumb (Korea) had user data leaks.
In TradFi, two securities firms in Korea leaked data:
3. Mirae Asset
4. Daishin Securities
You can't prevent a leak, but you can protect yourself.
Leaked exchange data (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, ID documents, transaction history) is mostly used for phishing, SIM swapping, and social engineering.
Reduce info you share
- Use a unique email alias for each exchange (SimpleLogin, Apple Hide My Email, etc). A leak then can't be linked to your other accounts, and you can spot which service leaked.
- Share only what's required. Don't add optional profile details.
- Use a dedicated phone number (a VoIP or secondary SIM) for exchange accounts if you can, since leaked numbers are the main route to SIM swaps.
Lock down the account
- Use a unique, long password from a password manager.
- Turn on hardware security keys (YubiKey) or passkeys, or at least an authenticator app.
- Avoid SMS 2FA.
- Enable withdrawal address whitelisting and a withdrawal time lock if the exchange offers them.
- Set up an anti-phishing code, which puts a code you choose in every legitimate email from the exchange.
- Review active sessions and API keys regularly. Delete any API keys you don't use.
- Restrict API keys to withdraw-disabled and IP-whitelisted.
Defend against
- SIM swapping: Ask your carrier to add a port-out PIN or number lock.
- Phishing and impersonation: Assume anyone who contacts you about your account, "security issues," or "refund recovery" is a scammer, even if they know your name, balance, or recent trades.
- Exchange support staff don't ask for your password, 2FA codes, or seed phrase.
- Never click links in emails or texts. Go to the site yourself.
- "Wrench attacks": Leaked addresses plus holdings data have led to real-world extortion and robberies. Don't publicize your holdings, and keep large balances out of anything tied to your home address if you can.
If a breach is announced
1. Change the exchange password and any other account that reused it.
2. Check haveibeenpwned.com for your email address.
3. Revoke API keys and active sessions.
4. Review recent withdrawals and security settings.
5. Watch for phishing emails and texts that reference the breach, because scammers move fast after one.
Stay SAFU! 🙏

Not crazy, but the weak spot is setup. That phone was online when you installed the wallet, so you're trusting the app store, the app, and an old OS that no longer gets patches.
And every time you take it out to move funds, it has to come back online. A hardware wallet signs offline, and your keys never touch the internet.
If you want the vault approach, put a multisig across two devices from different makers in the vault 👌

In 2016, even Zooko, Zcash’s founder said he was happy about Zclassic.
One chain funded the future with a founders’ reward.
The other stayed pure no premine, no tax, just miners.
Two philosophies, same roots.

So, y'all are feeding zcash:native founders with 20% fees, while we have a zclassic:native fork from 2016 that eliminates fees and gives 100% to miners, it is fair launch and removed all the bugs ZEC have problem with.
I think repricing will happen, and now at 15M market cap it is bargain.
Project is active for 10 years, and many ZEC og are supporting it now.
Here is the thesis of one ZEC whale for ZCL: zclthesis.com/
For me, it is clear that zcash:native can't work like this. Taking 20% tax and founder rewards makes no sense.
But, there is zclassic:native, fork from 2017 that went to 800m then. It is now on just 8M mc, and it removed tax + is 100% organic. ZEC is at 20BN. 100x would be only 800m for ZCL.
I expect LBank or some other CEX to list it soon and this will be easiest bet now.
I was talking about it first time in January at $0.24 price first time. Today price is $0.8, and volume is getting crazy.
You are still early, with ATH $250.

🧪 ZClassic was the privacy fork asking whether Zcash’s tech could stand on its own—and 2017 investors were already hunting the next asymmetric bet. Episode #289 revisits the thesis. Watch, like & subscribe. (Air date: 28/02/2017) youtu.be/v9InH8pXwW8

🤖 Made with AI
biggest futures traders on earth are legally required to tell you their positions every single week
grain producers, oil majors, currency desks at multinationals - positions disclosed publicly every week, completely free
it's called the commitment of traders report. cftc. gov
been there since 1962
when commercial hedgers shift net positioning by 10%+ in a single week, trend reversals follow within 2-4 weeks
these aren't speculators guessing - commercial hedgers have actual business exposure. when they hedge hard, they know something
retail is out here paying $200/mo for signal bots trying to catch that same move
quants just download a free CSV from cftc. gov every friday before the open
takes 20 minutes to read, no quant degree or Bloomberg terminal required
information was never behind a paywall or hidden from anyone - just sitting in a document too boring to open
everyone had access. almost nobody read it - that's still the whole edge

THIS IS HOW A SENIOR ENGINEER ACTUALLY SCALES THEMSELVES WITH CLAUDE CODE
the biggest change with AI isn't coding faster. it's where you actually spend your time now.
more detailed prompts, more code review, more planning, less typing, etc.
here's the workflow:
this guy has been shipping code since the days of cgi and perl.
he uses a compound engineering plugin that runs 5 separate agents on every task.
one brainstorms, one plans the technical implementation, one executes, one reviews, one checks different verticals.
every step is documented in markdown files. it's slow and way more waiting. but the output quality is way higher because each agent is focused on one thing.
then the REAL multiplier is in git worktrees
if Claude Code made you 10x faster, worktrees multiplies that again depending on how many agents you can manage in parallel
his team runs 4-8 Claude Code sessions at the same time across different worktrees with each one working on a separate task.
the skill is managing multiple AI agents in parallel without losing track, that's the next evolution of engineering

become a generalist.
specialization makes you efficient. generalization makes you dangerous.
what it actually means:
• learn across domains → math, physics, software, economics, biology. patterns repeat across fields.
• connect ideas → innovation happens at the intersection, not inside silos.
• adapt fast → when one field shifts, you don’t collapse, you pivot.
• see systems → specialists see parts, generalists see the whole
• build end-to-end → from idea → design → implementation → delivery
the world rewards specialists in stable environments.
it rewards generalists when things are changing.
right now, everything is changing.
don’t just go deep.
go wide, then stack depth where it matters.

SOMEONE VIBE CODED A TOOL THAT FINDS BUSINESSES, READS THEIR REVIEWS, AND WRITES COLD EMAILS BASED ON THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS' COMPLAINTS
this is insane. you type in any business type and pick a city.
it scrapes every matching business off Google Maps with 30+ data fields.
then it visits their actual websites and pulls verified emails, phone numbers, and every social media profile they have
scraped live, not from some outdated database like other tools
then the AI reads up to 50 of their Google reviews and finds their exact pain points
"clients complain photos don't show the real size of properties" or "listings take too long to sell"
then you tell it what YOUR business does. it cross-references your offer with their specific problems and generates a fully personalized cold email for each business.
send it in 2 clicks. one by one and not bulk so it lands in the primary inbox
and all of those leads land on a GPS-mapped CRM where you can draw sales territories, optimize driving routes, track your team's activity in real time, and transcribe voice notes after meetings.
works in 200+ countries and with any business type. if they're on Google Maps you can find them
this is the most complete lead gen tool i've ever seen
AND he vibe coded the whole thing with Claude Code in 2 weeks
