Tonight’s outcome isn’t about placing faith in Democrats or socialist principles; it’s about holding Republicans accountable for betraying their promises.
All Republicans had to do was:
1. put Americans First
2. not start another war
3. prosecute sex traffickers

Friends, I don’t think we Christians fully understand how radically we must think about the goal of the Christian life. It is not to become a nice person. An atheist can be a nice person.
The goal is to become a new creation, someone living the very life of God. Jesus is the Son of God by nature, but we become sons and daughters of God by adoption, brought into a share in his life like a child welcomed into a family and their home.
That’s what it means to be a saint: to be invited into the household of God, and to worship God by eating and drinking the body and blood of Jesus, becoming assimilated unto him.

Websites are files on a computer. When you view a website, you are asking the computer to send you the files, then your browser shows them to you.
70% of the websites you see use PHP to make them interactive. So you can send things to the website too and it can respond. E.g. filling in a comment box and hitting 'post' adds the comment as a row to a spreadsheet.
PHP has a flaw in its code that allows anyone to gain control of the computer that has the website on it.
The organisation that provides PHP announced the vulnerability before a patch was available, meaning we're in a window where everyone knows about it (including baddies) but the good guys don't have an official solution.
Some are just turning off their websites and waiting for the solution. Others are trying to fix it themselves. General chaos and lots of stressed techies across literally the entire planet because this affects the entire internet.

Ron, I grew up militantly atheistic. I had a radical conversion to Christ in college. I read the (Protestant) bible cover to cover, multiple times. I was baptized in my early 20s in a Southern Baptist church. I did Bible studies, was discipled, mentored, studied, etc. etc.
I kept reading the Bible. I also began to ask: who were the people who discerned which books God had inspired, and thus belonged in the Bible? I would encourage you to ask yourself that question. Do not accept pat answers. With sola scriptura, the bible ALONE is the sole infallible rule of faith. Where then, does an infallible table of contents come from? The answer is, it doesn't. There's no such thing in the Protestant world, hence Sproul's awful "fallible collection of infallible books."
The idea that Ron in the 21st century has a better shot at interpreting the Bible than does St. Clement, contemporary and friend of the Apostles, in the first century, is ludicrous. I would trust St. Clement, and St. Ignatius, and St. Irenaeus, over what you think any time.
If you are that familiar with St. Irenaeus, then I don't need to quote to you what he wrote about the successors of the Apostles and the bishop of Rome. Succession and Tradition are two sides of the same coin.
St. Irenaeus asserted that the true Church is defined by a visible, historical lineage of bishops who directly succeeded the Apostles, contrasting this with Gnostic claims of secret, spiritual knowledge.
The sad thing is, a Protestant can just argue forever that their interpretation of the Bible is the right one. That's what all Protestants have done, and do, for the past 500 years. It is simply NOT the way that God designed His Church, not the way that He designed truth to be preserved and transmitted.
Your best course of action is to, in humility, study the claims of the Catholic Church, pray for wisdom, pray that your biases are revealed, and then become Catholic.

Families participate in the Church’s mission in the ordinary fabric of their lives, through love and fidelity, care and forgiveness, the education of children, their efforts in transmitting faith, attention to the elderly and the vulnerable, and the many ways in which they serve their communities and society. In all these ways, families bear witness to the Gospel and contribute to the life and mission of the Church.
