I didn't expect the voiceover or the manim work. It does help that I have a skill for manim so it must have gotten called when I asked it to create a math lesson because I have used manim for that before, months ago.
I was really surprised with the voiceover work it did. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did. I feel like for a moment I've glimpsed into the future of teaching.. or perhaps self-learning depending on whether or not we will continue to need teachers to create lessons for students.
Maybe in this future students have lessons generated for them depending on what they're interested in learning. Teachers help guide students on prompting, getting more from the technology, teaching how to learn rather than teaching a subject for an exam.
I really miss being able to read the reasoning traces for models. Honestly I would often get more out of the reasoning than I would out of the deliverable itself. I certainly felt closer to the process.
I feel like I often have to spend several turns working backwards just to try to grasp the same level of understanding of whatever it is the model produced, the “why” behind the answer. It’s hard to keep doing that when it’s easier to just keep moving forward.
