also lots of people on the timeline condemning piracy of games (probably because it pertains to one of the sacred cow IPs), but don't y'all recognise that such bellyaching just makes trolls want to do it more?
feels like a lot of the zoomers don't grasp the basics of Internet

Why do people treat emulation and piracy like they’re the same thing? They’re two completely separate topics.
Like Gabe Newell said: “Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem.”
If Nintendo sold their games on PC, people wouldn’t need to pirate them. Hell, if they just sold the ROMs and made you emulate them yourself, most people would still pay.

Touhou is now 30 years old. Even if the first game mostly resembles Gunbarich rather than the games we're used to seeing from the series, it's impressive how much of a legacy the series has made for itself both as a doujin, as a shmup, and as copyright free IP.
Long live Touhou!
Another one to the long list if reasons people like this platform
Oh but yeah, let's switch to other corporate ghoul platforms because something about monopoly. Sure thing Tim
>guy deletes his game library during mental health episodes (they aren't refunded)

>Steam Support restores everything
If this were any other company I'd imagine they'd maybe get a 20% discount on their next purchase over 50 dollars or something. Thread in reply.
95% of the time my car is sitting idle, but I'd rather that than rely on public transport that doesn't operate how I want and doesn't bend to fit my schedule
Let people have things you ghouls
I Agree with Sam Altman.
First of all, local models are useless, they're dumb and slow
You'll spend ~$1000 on 128 GB RAM to run a local model
And you won't get anything done with it, dumb models at 8tps are useless
A $20 subscription will get more things done
And for 95% of the time, RAM is not being used so it's doing less work there compared to in a data centre where utility is more
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Local models on suitable 128GB hardware often run at 30+ tokens/second and offer practical uses; 128GB DDR5 RAM kits currently start above $2200, not ~$1000.
