Alabama-LSU game is a reminder of how final stats can be misleading. Tigers had 172 more yards, but Leavitt had to throw it 47 times. LSU was 0-of-4 on fourth down against Bama's defense. Alabama QB Keelon Russell was the essence of toughness, and Tide were the more physical team. Three of LSU's four fourth-quarter possessions ended on downs and the fourth was a punt.
