– at Raszyn, Polska

It’s time for Australia’s big banks, among the most profitable in the world, to start paying interest on all deposits, cash management accounts. There are $billions sitting in these accounts not earning any % while our banks gouge mortgagees under cover of @RBAInfo’s counter inflation strategy.

Two days out from the AUKUS Public Inquiry publishing its findings and we have this Bill tabled on 27 October with submissions due by tomorrow. Why the rush, Minister Marles?
Many of us have long suspected that the Americans will want to control the airspace and the sea space around their bases which raises serious issues about sovereignty and accountability.
If the Americans are carrying out nuclear armed missions on Australian soil we will be kept completely in the dark.
This Bill is alarming not only because of the inadequate timeframe provided to oppose it and because it will slip blithely through the bipartisan Defence Committee, but because we are handing sovereignty of important parts of our country to the most notorious rogue international law breaker in modern history.
We should be completely disassociating ourselves from the US war machine rather than handing it sole control of critical, strategic parts of Australia.
Note the changes proposed to the FOI Act: between that and the multifarious physical restrictions, the entire AUKUS project will be effectively blanketed from scrutiny by the Australian public.
Get your submissions in by tomorrow and see the must read piece by @JabriRita below.

Next time I need to dump some rubbish I'll just put all my assets into an offshore company and go bankrupt, save $660 a year.

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.

Heads up. After an intense and very encouraging 6 months of democracy in action - our report is just about to drop.

🇦🇺 Imagine paying for FSD over 2,000 days ago… and still waiting for the LITE version. 🤯
Welcome to the Aussie HW3 waiting room. The greatest hits:
🎵 “Some of us paid in full over 2,000 days ago.”
🎵 “54 days since Tesla said it was in active development. Still waiting for the active part.”
🎵 “Maybe by Easter… Halloween… Christmas… Australia Day?”
🇰🇷 South Korea got FSD Lite in July.
🇦🇺 Australia got a ghost costume. 👻
@TeslaAUNZ, is FSD Lite coming, or are we just being ghosted?
Just got a call from my local Tesla store asking if I’d like to transfer my FSD to a new car. I told them:
1. I’m not in the financial position to purchase a new car.
2. I’d like to see the FSD I’ve purchased outright back in 2019 to be able to perform the way it should on my car.
3. I’d like Tesla to allow transferring of my FSD whenever I’m ready without a time limit.

What actual power does she have?
Segal is at it again, demanding to police the universities, the ABC and SBS. She is an arrogant menace .

HW3 Tesla FSD Update – 29 October 2026 🇦🇺
FSD V14.3 Lite continues rolling out to HW3 vehicles in North America, while Australia’s latest V14.3.12 rollout remains restricted to HW4 vehicles.
For Australian HW3 owners, particularly those who purchased FSD years ago, the situation remains frustratingly unchanged:
• No confirmed Australian HW3 FSD release date.
• No commitment to free HW4 hardware retrofits.
• No extension of FSD licence-transfer eligibility.
• No announced refund or compensation arrangement.
• No confirmed Australian regulatory remedy for early FSD purchasers.
Tesla continues demonstrating FSD’s capabilities and promoting its safety benefits in Australia, yet customers who purchased the technology years before HW4 existed remain unable to access it.
As a 2021 Model 3 HW3 owner who paid upfront for FSD, I find it increasingly difficult to reconcile Tesla’s technological progress with its obligations to early customers.
Five years later, we’re still waiting for the functionality we purchased, with no definitive roadmap or resolution.
The question isn’t simply whether HW3 can eventually run a reduced version of FSD. It’s whether Tesla will honour its original commitments to customers who helped fund its development.
