A week ago today, I married the sweetest woman in the world. @obxdogwalker saved my life eleven years ago, and every day since she's shown me kindness and love.
We've supported each other through a lot of loss and tragedy, and she always makes me smile and feel like the most important person in the world. I sometimes find it hard to believe I'm so blessed.
God is good.

Prince is probably the greatest musician of our lifetime.
Prince was asked to do a solo on a cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps and he showed up to the rehearsal and barely played anything. Didn’t have any solo ready at all and didn’t play one. They asked what he was going to play and he just said “Don’t worry about it.”
Then, on the night of the performance he just looms out of the shadows and plays this. The way he pivots off that F# root note into Dorian mode is so good. Massively underrated guitarist.

Politicians aren’t my friends.
They are our employees and accountable to us all.
Replying to @smcroasters @Levimatron
Do you complain about your friends publicly and tell everyone why they made you upset?

Here’s a simple rule… if you kill kids we don’t care if you’re crazy or not. We want you taken off the chess board. It’s just that simple.

Work has been a little nuts, will be for a little while longer. I hope you all are out there earning whatever your drink and meat of choice is tonight, earning your lifestyle, and most importantly, earning the respect and appreciation from those closest to you. We work not just for ourselves, but the ones we care about. If I can make a little something of myself, anyone can. You just have to want it and never give up. Greatest country on the planet. No one can compete with us…cheers🫡🇺🇸🥃

I don’t know about you all, but frankly I’m insulted by the notion that my vote this November could be bought for 5k. Not to mention the inflation this would cause. All things considered, I cannot in good conscience accept a penny less than 10k!
.@POTUS announces the TRUMP DIVIDEND: If Republicans win both the House and the Senate, because of our tremendous economic success, I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States for $5,000
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The President of the United States has no constitutional or statutory authority to issue a dividend check on behalf of the US Government. Only the Congress can authorize and appropriate these funds.

Ro Khanna finally said the quiet part out loud.
If an entrepreneur is worth billions on paper but doesn’t have the cash to pay his wealth tax, sell the shares.
If he borrows against them and can’t repay the loan, the state can sell them for him.
That isn’t taxing consumption. It isn’t taxing income. It’s the government forcing founders to monetize ownership in companies they spent years building because politicians decided the valuation itself is taxable.
And Khanna’s answer is basically: Jensen Huang can afford it.
Great. What about the founder who can’t?
Apparently creating jobs, reinvesting in the company and keeping your wealth tied up in the business is now a liquidity problem for the government to solve by selling your property.
Mark Cuban is right to be furious.
Cc @RoKhanna
Ro, “in your scenario, the founder could sell to pay a one time 5 percent tax or the state could sell it if he defaults on the loan”
Ro, this is the biggest fuck you in the history of entrepreneurship. Ever.
Creating jobs but don’t have cash. Fuck you
Can’t sell shares, we will sell it for you, to whoever. Fuck you.
Creating jobs. Paying great wages instead of taking cash out yourself. Fuck you
Reinvesting into your company and community. Fuck You.
Don’t you know that Jensen, and Lisa Su, and people who have vast amounts of liquidity already have no problem with it. Fuck You
There is a huge difference between someone with liquidity , running a huge public company, and someone who has dedicated every minute of who knows how many years, to building a company, to finally have a dream financing come true , only to be insulted by a politician. “We will sell your shares for you “

Some of this discourse is so dumb. In HS I used to be able to eat for three days on $20 and I'd still have money left over for smokes. Gaslighting the kids is not going to work.

2A WIN: $0 NFA tax = ZERO NFA registration!
Last year, I wrote and fought for a provision in the One Big Beautiful Bill to ZERO OUT NFA taxes on suppressors and short-barreled firearms.
It was my intent to also eliminate the NFA registration of these firearms, as the taxation and registration requirements are inextricably linked.
For months, I’ve fought to ensure this congressional intent was understood by the courts and adopted by the DOJ.
Today’s court ruling finally did just that by declaring NFA registration for $0 NFA tax firearms as unconstitutional.
This is a historic win—one that gun owners have fought to achieve since the NFA was enacted 92 years ago.
But our work is far from over.
We must both defend this ruling and build on its success in order to fully restore our 2A liberties from the draconian NFA.
Let’s keep up the fight to safeguard our Second Amendment rights! 🇺🇸

🚨BREAKING🚨
In GOA's case, a federal court just stuck down NFA registration for:
❌Suppressors
❌Short-Barreled Rifles
❌Short-Barreled Shotguns
GOA & our allies in Congress eliminated the tax.
The National Firearms Act of 1934 is now UNCONSTITUTIONAL as applied.
