🚨Jamaica, we cannot read this story and simply scroll past.
Delroy Britton is a father of three sons, all autistic. He walks them for about an hour to school in Mandeville because he is determined to give them an education and a chance at a better life.
But at home, his family is living without basic necessities. No electricity. No reliable potable water. A damaged roof. No fridge or proper cooking facilities. His sons sometimes have to depend on others just to charge their tablets.
He is currently out of work and still refuses to give up on his boys.
He wants to build a better life through livestock farming, but right now, this family needs help.
If you can assist with repairs, water, electricity, appliances, food, transportation, employment, livestock-farming support or financial assistance, please step forward.
And if you cannot give, share this post. Someone in your network may be able to change this family's circumstances.
Let us turn compassion into action.
Three boys deserve a safe home.
A father deserves a chance to provide.
And sometimes, all it takes is one person deciding to help.
🇯🇲 Please share widely.

The C-43 reservoir is a key component of our Everglades restoration plan. This provides the capacity to store water that is discharged by the Army Corps from Lake Okeechobee and then clean it before placing it in to the estuaries.
Promise made and promise kept!
✅ This reservoir is a major feat of engineering, construction and planning.
✅ This reservoir added 55 billion gallons of water capacity storage in South Florida.
✅ This reservoir is one of the most important projects in the history of Everglades restoration.
💧🏅👏 The 10,000-acre Caloosahatchee (C-43) Reservoir is a key component of the joint state-federal Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a major achievement in our broader mission to restore the Everglades, expand Florida’s water storage capacity and protect important ecosystems now and for future generations.

Is anyone else amazed by how much of a global presence Jamaica has, considering the island has only about 2.8 million residents and roughly 4.4 million Jamaicans worldwide?
Jamaica might be the ultimate example of a country that punches far above its weight. With a population of only about 2.8 million, the island has given the world reggae, ska, rocksteady, dub, and dancehall, while its sound-system culture helped shape hip-hop, jungle, drum and bass, and other electronic genres.
Jamaican food, Patois, Rastafari culture, and the island’s distinctive visual identity have also become recognizable far beyond the Caribbean. Sports have added another layer, with Jamaica emerging as a global sprinting powerhouse and producing legends like Usain Bolt despite its small population.
The Jamaican diaspora in Britain, Canada, and the United States has helped carry the culture even further. Combined with Jamaica’s ties to the English-speaking world, its music and cultural influence have been remarkably easy to share and export around the globe.

Kontrèman ak moun ki plede di peyi Ayiti kondane pou PÒV yo, mwen te toujou kwè Peyi a ka REYISI epi ap REYISI. Nou bezwen bonjan LIDÈCHIP pou mete tout potansyèl yo ansanm pou Ayiti pran wout devlopman an.

The US sent a warship to Haiti’s coast to ensure the prime minister they wanted held power. The US spent hundreds of millions to send foreign military troops to Haiti. Can we stop acting like the US isn’t actively involved in running Haiti?
