In 2023, Liam McCracken was supposed to headline our first APFC show in the UK. Five weeks before the fight, he was hit by a bus in an accident that nearly took his life. Liam still showed up to APFC Manchester that night. It was his first public appearance since the accident, and I’ll never forget him telling me that he was still going to make it to the UFC. Tonight, he gets the chance to make good on those words when he fights for a UFC contract on DWCS. I can’t wait for you guys to see what this kid can do. What he’s overcome just to get here is incredible, and I truly believe he has a very bright future ahead of him.
