Betrayed by the man she married, brutalized by the man who raised her. 🤦🏽♀️
Toxicity at its absolute peak.
The first wife only found out a few months to the wedding of her husband to the second wife, understandably, reacted in anger, she even lashed out at her mother-in-law, accusing her of being behind the whole situation. Things escalated quickly. It was said that the mother-in-law had already reported her to her father, and instead of trying to settle things peacefully, the husband promised to give her ₦1 million after the wedding just to calm her down.
She agreed, but after the wedding, he only gave her ₦400k. She rejected it and threw it back at him. Rather than address the issue or take responsibility, he went ahead to report her to her father. What happened next is the most heartbreaking part, her own father, instead of protecting her or even trying to understand her pain, ordered that she be tied up from morning till night and she was beaten on top of it. I’m so sure she will frustrate that second wife out of the home
Uncomfortable truth:
The way people treat you is a reflection of them. The way you tolerate it is a reflection of you.
You really never truly know the depth of what people are quietly battling behind closed doors. Rest in peace.🕊️
One day, you will tell people how you pulled yourself out of the ocean when you couldn’t even swim.
Don’t you dare give up on yourself.
May all you’ve been sowing grow beyond your wildest hopes, overflowing into a harvest of deep, rich fulfillment.
Good morning and have a wonderful day. 😊
May everything you’ve ever watered with the hope of it blooming into something beautiful do so, abundantly.
Good Morning, Enjoy the rest of your day. 🤍
