Reminder that my criticism of Spindlehorse and its shows never extends to the employees, especially animators and visual artists. HB and HH have some of the most visually stunning work I've seen in indie animation and I'm heartbroken to hear about the recent layoffs.

Amazon is just a distributor, they don't dictate the pay Spindlehorse employees get. They contract with Spindlehorse, they don't own them. However, Spindlehorse DOES rank in serious royalties from being on Prime, so they absolutely have the money to pay their employees fairly.
