“Let me die,” American photojournalist Heidi Levine repeats to journalists Jasper Nathaniel as they try to outrun masked Israeli settlers who attacked her on Friday while she covered the olive harvest in the West Bank village of Abu Falah, near Ramallah. Around 80 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the village, AP reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated six people injured in two attacks in Abu Falah. Levine, a freelancer for the Washington Post, told the Committee to Protect Journalists that the settlers knocked her down and kicked her for at least 10 minutes, even after she identified herself as an American journalist. They stole her camera, phone and bag. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Ramallah. "The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat" Levine "nearly to death," Nathaniel wrote, adding that soldiers then shot a Palestinian bystander and aimed their guns at and shoved paramedics trying to treat him. AP photos and circulating videos show Israeli soldiers standing over a wounded Palestinian man after they shot him. Andrey X, an activist also at the scene, said a Palestinian man "saved our lives from the settler-terrorists who attacked the olive harvesters and journalists” armed only with a slingshot.
To be clear, the only reason I was able to reach Heidi was because young Palestinians provided cover with rocks against machine-gun- and tear-gas-wielding settlers and soldiers. It’s those kids, not the settler terrorists, who the IDF was hunting after the attack.

In the final months of his life, Jason Arday was subject to a relentless onslaught of attacks and abuse. Jason was a human being with friends and family - but he was turned into a pawn for vicious culture wars by a cruel media industry motivated by racism and clicks. The lessons are never learned. When will the British media face accountability for its behaviour? Jason was much loved by those around him. May he rest in peace.

The USA a few weeks ago murdered 180 kids just like this. As they sat in school a missile blew them to pieces. Trump still denies it and sat here smiling. But now it's "let's believe in love" - tomorrow we will murder more kids in Gaza & Iran.

The way we stopped hearing or seeing media about Palestine, and there are new types of bombs being dropped in a ceasefire
BREAKING: Israel has dropped a new type of bomb in Gaza. Palestinians claim it’s a “mini nuke,” but analysis suggests it is likely a thermobaric (vacuum) weapon. Thermobaric bombs detonate by dispersing a fuel–air mixture, producing a high-pressure shockwave and intense heat. This can collapse structures and cause blast effects similar to a nuclear detonation in terms of overpressure, but it is not a nuclear weapon.

If this was any other country, it would be huge news, and most western governments would be loudly condemning it. But it’s Israel so…
"A breast feeding baby was shot by a quad copter through the head" Yesterday the UN commission of inquiry published a report detailing how Israel deliberately targets & kills Palestinian children

Richard Burgon just exposed the most glaring double standard in British policy "Imagine if this weekend in London there was a Russian real estate event selling Ukrainian land. The government would ban it immediately. Instead, we have an Israeli real estate event openly advertising the illegal sale of land in occupied Palestinian territories. The government recognizes Palestine. Why isn't this banned?"

Complaining about nightlife when you *checks notes* choose to live in Soho is like living in South Kensington and complaining about the museums.

Or moving to Hackney and grumbling about creatives. Living in Richmond and hating green space.

It's all getting a bit silly, isn't it?

An American Jew who was born in New York in 1944 and an Ethiopian Jew born in Ethiopia can both turn up and get citizenship, rights, votes, land, homes. Palestinians who were born there, whose families have have lived there for generations, remain refugees in the surrounding countries, denied a right to return to their lands, despite holding onto keys and property deeds. This is Zionism.
My wife Toby and I are in @Israel becoming citizens. At the Interior Ministry, the official reviewing our papers - a Jew who came from Ethiopia in 1991 - asked me for proof that I was Jewish. I showed him letters from our rabbi. As I did so, tears began to flow. I told him: “I remember the 1970s and ’80s, when we marched and protested so Ethiopian Jews could come home to Israel. Back then, many questioned whether Ethiopian Jews were Jewish at all. We insisted our Black brothers and sisters were as Jewish as any of us.” And now, 35 years later, here was a holy Ethiopian Jew confirming my Judaism. We had come full circle. Holding his hand, I sang: “Zeh hayom asah Hashem, nagilah ve’nismechah bo” - This is the day God has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Jews from East and West have returned home together. Am Yisrael chai v’yichyeh.

If 51 Jews were killed in 24hrs, every world leader would issue a statement of condemnation & it would be described as the nth worst antisemitic massacre since the holocaust. When Israel kills 51 people in Lebanon in 24hrs, it's called a ceasefire.
🚨Israel killed 51 people in Lebanon in 24 hours on Saturday as the Israeli army continued its attacks despite the so-called ceasefire. The toll since the beginning of March has surged past 2,846 killed and 8,693 injured, the Ministry of Public Health announced today.

If Hamas fired a single shot post ceasefire, we’d never stop hearing about it. But Israel has carried out 1,228 airstrikes and shelling attack on Palestinians inside the Gaza concentration camp since the ceasefire began.
💢 REPORT | Israeli forces have now carried out 1,228 airstrikes and shelling attacks and 1,060 live-fire incidents across Gaza since the “ceasefire” was agreed to last October, according to a report shared by the Palestinian side with mediators and obtained by Drop Site News. Tuesday alone saw 10 new violations recorded across the Strip, including strikes that killed three Palestinians, among them 15-year-old Mahmoud Mohammad Sahwil, and wounded dozens more. The total number of documented Israeli ceasefire violations has now reached 2,741. 10 incidents recorded on Tuesday: 🔹 Civilian killed and others wounded in a strike targeting a vehicle on Al-Jalaa Street in central Gaza City 🔹 Israeli forces shelled eastern Khan Younis 🔹 Civilian killed and others wounded in an Israeli drone strike on a motorcycle near Kuwait Roundabout, south of Gaza City 🔹 A girl wounded by Israeli gunfire inside Al-Ikhwa shelter camp in Al-Bureij 🔹 Mahmoud Mohammad Sahwil, 15, killed and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a building in Al-Nasr neighborhood, Gaza City 🔹 Israeli quadcopter drone opened fire near Abu Humaid Roundabout in central Khan Younis 🔹 Israeli forces opened fire toward eastern Khan Younis 🔹 Israeli tank advanced into eastern central Gaza, accompanied by live fire and explosive drops from drones along Salah al-Din Road 🔹 Artillery shelling targeting northeast of Al-Bureij Camp 🔹 Explosive demolition of residential blocks east of Gaza City Since the ceasefire took effect, 837 Palestinians have been killed — including 216 children, 91 women, and 23 elderly — and 2,381 wounded, of whom more than half are children, women, or elderly. 73 civilians have also been detained. Israel also continues to hold approximately 34 square kilometers beyond agreed withdrawal lines and has blocked repairs to electricity, water, and sewage infrastructure. Aid and movement restrictions remain severe: Aid entry ▪️ Only ~37.4% of agreed humanitarian aid has entered — ~224 trucks per day vs. 600 agreed ▪️ Fuel deliveries at just 14.8% of required levels Rafah crossing ▪️ Rafah crossing fully closed on the reported day ▪️ Only 4,446 of 14,200 planned crossings carried out (~31.3%) ▪️ Medical and humanitarian travel remains severely restricted
