I've seen people make different assumptions about gold-backed crypto, and honestly, some of them need correcting.
Just because a token is backed by gold doesn't mean you understand how it works or what risks come with it.
So let's look at some common myths and what the facts actually say.

Innovation matters, but usability determines how easily people can benefit from it.
A platform can offer powerful features, yet complicated navigation can discourage users before they discover the value.
That's one reason @VelixoMarket caught my attention.
It brings multiple NFT trading options into one ecosystem, including individual listings, collection offers, and auctions, with activity across Fogo and @RobinhoodChain.
Having these tools together can make NFT discovery and trading more convenient for collectors and traders.
The bigger principle is simple: users shouldn't have to fight the interface to access the technology.
As Web3 grows, smooth experiences and accessible tools will matter just as much as new features.
Wishing everyone a productive day.

Manager: “You have 24 hours to clear your desk.”
Me: “No problem. But who will open the company vault tomorrow?”
Manager: “What do you mean?”
Me: “I thought you knew. I'm the only person with the access code.”
It was my fourth year working at a private investment company.
I had joined as a junior clerk and gradually worked my way up until I became responsible for managing the company's confidential financial records.
One Monday morning, the new managing director called me into his office.
Manager: “I've reviewed the department's structure, and we've decided your position is no longer necessary.”
Me: “Are you saying I'm being fired?”
Manager: “Exactly. We need someone younger with fresh ideas.”
Me: “I understand. When should I leave?”
Manager: “Tomorrow. HR will handle the paperwork.”
I returned to my desk, where my colleague Daniel was waiting.
Daniel: “What happened?”
Me: “Apparently, I'm no longer needed.”
Daniel: “After everything you've done for this company?”
I smiled.
Me: “Sometimes people only understand your value after you've left.”
I packed my belongings and placed my office keys on the manager's desk.
But I kept one small key attached to my house keys.
The next morning, the manager arrived early for an important meeting with the company's investors.
Everything was ready until the chief accountant approached him.
Accountant: “Sir, we cannot access the archived financial records.”
Manager: “Why not? Didn't IT transfer everything?”
Accountant: “The final authorization is linked to the former records administrator.”
Manager: “Call him immediately!”
My phone rang.
Manager: “Where are you? We need you at the office urgently.”
Me: “I thought you said my position was unnecessary.”
Manager: “This isn't the time for jokes. We have investors waiting!”
Me: “I'm sorry, sir. I'm no longer an employee.”
What happened next shocked everyone in the boardroom...
PART 2 OF 2
Manager: “Listen, we can discuss your position later. Just come and unlock the records.”
Me: “I can assist with a proper handover, but everything must go through HR and IT.”
He went silent.
An hour later, I received an official email requesting my assistance with the transition.
I agreed to attend.
When I arrived, the manager was waiting outside the conference room.
Manager: “Why didn't you tell me the records were linked to your authorization?”
Me: “I did. It was documented in the handover procedures I submitted three months ago.”
He looked uncomfortable.
During the meeting, IT explained that the system required an authorized administrator to complete the transfer. They also discovered that my previous requests to appoint a backup administrator had never been approved.
The investors were unhappy.
One of them turned towards the manager.
Investor: “Why would you dismiss the only person responsible for maintaining access to such important records without arranging a proper transition?”
The manager struggled to answer.
After the meeting, HR contacted me with an unexpected proposal.
They wanted me to return as the company's records and compliance manager, with a better salary, a larger team and clearly defined responsibilities.
I politely declined.
Me: “I appreciate the offer, but I don't think returning is the right decision.”
Manager: “So what do you want?”
Me: “Nothing, sir. I just want to work somewhere my contributions are recognized before there's a problem.”
Two weeks later, I accepted a position at another company.
Six months later, Daniel called me.
Daniel: “You won't believe what happened.”
Me: “What?”
Daniel: “They finally hired three people to manage the records department. They've also introduced proper handover procedures.”
I laughed.
Me: “That's good. At least someone learned something.”
That day, I understood something important.
Never confuse an employee's quiet attitude with a lack of value. Sometimes, the person you consider replaceable is the one holding everything together.

Piers Morgan: Cristiano, you’ve retired from international football. One thing surprised me. Lionel Messi never publicly congratulated you. Did that hurt?
Ronaldo: (Smiles) Hurt? No. But surprised? Maybe a little.
Piers: Come on, Cristiano. After everything you two have been through?
Ronaldo: Piers, for almost twenty years, the world compared us. Every goal, every trophy, every Ballon d’Or. Sometimes I think people forget we’re human beings.
Piers: So you expected a message?
Ronaldo: I wouldn’t say expected. But when someone has pushed you to become better for almost your entire career, a simple message means something.
Piers: Do you think Messi respects you?
Ronaldo: I believe he does. And I respect him. But respect isn’t always expressed publicly.
Piers: If Messi announced his retirement tomorrow, would you congratulate him?
Ronaldo: (Pauses) Of course. I’d probably be the first to call him.
Piers: Even if he never called you?
Ronaldo: (Smiles) Piers, rivalry ends when the whistle blows. Greatness deserves respect, even from your greatest rival.
