THE CONFESSION OF A GIRL WHO DISCOVERED SHE LIKES IT
I used to laugh at the idea of enjoying the kind of things I read about in Fifty Shades of Grey.
Back then, I thought, There is absolutely no way I would enjoy being tied up or letting someone else take control.
I hated pain. I hated feeling vulnerable. Most importantly, I thought I always needed to be in control.
Then something changed.
I started realizing that there was a difference between losing control and choosing to give someone else control.
And honestly? I discovered that I liked the feeling.
There was something surprisingly comforting about trusting someone enough to stop making every decision myself. I didn't feel weak. I didn't feel powerless. I actually felt more confident because I was choosing to let go.
Some days, I still want to be the one calling the shots. Other days, I want someone I trust to take the lead.
And that's what surprised me most.
I didn't have to fit into one box.
Maybe curiosity isn't about deciding who you are immediately. Maybe it's about being honest enough with yourself to discover what you actually enjoy.
Because sometimes the things you once said, “I'd never do that,” become the exact things that make you realize you know yourself a little better than you thought.

🚨 EXECUTED: Jeremy Williams, convicted of the kidnapping, rape, and murder of 5-year-old Kamarie Holland, was executed on August 13, 2026.
In December 2021, Williams reportedly paid Kamarie's mother $2,500 for access to her daughter. He took the little girl to an abandoned house in Phenix City, sexually assaulted and filmed her, strangled her, and left her body beneath a tarp.
In April 2024, a jury found him guilty of four counts of capital murder, and he was sentenced to death.
His final words were: "I want to thank God for forgiving me for my sins so I can meet him in peace. Goodnight."
District Attorney Richard Chancey's response was devastating: "That baby didn't die in peace."
Williams chose not to pursue ordinary appeals, but mandatory appellate review still applied. In March 2026, Alabama's Court of Criminal Appeals upheld his convictions and death sentence. The execution was authorized in June and carried out by lethal injection on August 13, 2026.
Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall also stated that Williams confessed to killing his infant daughter in Alaska and raping other young children.
From the murder in 2021 to the execution in 2026, the legal process reached its conclusion.
No sentence can restore Kamarie's life or erase what happened to her. But for those who support capital punishment, this case represents accountability for one of the most horrific crimes imaginable.
May Kamarie never be forgotten.
